Brainboxes RS232 is an adapter that allows any device with an RS232 port to communicate with another Bluetooth device. It's suitable for any device with a serial port, making it ideal for Bluetooth enabling "dumb" RS232 devices like dataloggers. The adapter supports handshaking flow control and has a range of up to 30 meters in an office environment and 10 meters in the field, subject to local environment conditions. It can be powered via Pin 9, and has an integral antenna and upgradeable onboard flash memory for the latest Bluetooth features.
