•Thereisnoneedtorestarttheproductafterchangingthelens.However,theproductmustberestartedifyouare

interchangingbetweenaP-iris,DC-Irisorxed/manualirislens.Inordertosetthefocusandpositionthelens,the

productmustbeconnectedtothenetwork.

ToviewstreamingvideoinInternetExplorer,allowinstallationofAXISMediaControl(AMC)whenprompted.

TheAxisproductincludesone(1)H.264decoderlicenseforviewingvideostreamsandone(1)AACaudiolicense.Thelicensesare

automaticallyinstalledwithAMC.Theadministratorcandisabletheinstallationofthedecoders,topreventinstallationofunlicensed

copies.

H.264can,withoutcompromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalvideolebymorethan80%comparedwiththeMotion

JPEGformatandasmuchas50%morethantheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatmuchlessnetworkbandwidthandstoragespace

arerequiredforavideole.Orseenanotherway,muchhighervideoqualitycanbeachievedforagivenbitrate.
