IMPORTANT NOTICE
THINGS TO DO BEFORE OPERATING
YOUR NEW COMPRESSOR FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. On the top fro n t o f t h e c o m p ressor you will find a
white plastic shipping plug inserted into the Oil
Filler H o l e . R e m o v e t h e s h i p p i n g p l u g a n d replace by
pressing t h e red Oil Filler Plug (supplied in the p a r t s b a g )

2. Also,supplied in the parts bag you will f i n d a b l a c k
Air B reather Assembly. S c rew the assembly into the hole
on the side and at.the top of the Compr
essor H e a d .
3. Using the Sight-Glass built into the lower front area
of the Compressor (just behind the Regulator) , check the
Oil Level. It should be at the halfway mark on the Sight
Glass for normal operation. If it is necessary to add oil,
please use any standard air compressor oil available at
Home Centers and other major retailers.
4. There a re two Air O u tlet Fitti ngs on the R e gulator.
Air flow for one fitt ing is opera ted by turn i ng the
Regula tor Han d le. Th e othe
r i s a fre e flow directly from the
tank. S crew e ither a metal cap o r a qui c k-coupler (not

1.INTRODUCTION
2.SAFETY GUIDELINES
Read this manual carefully before operating or servicing this, air compressor to
familiarize yourself with proper safety, operation, and main tenance procedures.
Failure to comply with instructions in this manual could result in personal injury,
property damage, and/or voiding of your warranty. Following the instructions in
this manual will provide a longer and safer service life for you air compressor.
DANGER-AN IMMEDIATE HAZARD THAT WILL
CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR LOSS OF LIFE.
1 . To reduce the r isk of fire or explosion , never s p r a y flammable liquids
in a confinded area. It is normal for the motor and pressure switch to produce
sparks while operating. If sparks come into contact with vapors from gasoline
o
r other solvente, they, may ignite causing fire or explosion, Always operate
the compressor in a well- ventilated area, Do not smoke while spraying. Do
not spray where sparks or flame are present, Keep compressor as far from
spray area as possible.
2. T he solve nts Trichloroeth ane and Methyl ene Chlor ide can c h e m i-
cally react with aluminum used in paint spray guns, paint pumps, etc,
and cause an explosion, If you are using these solvents, use only stainle
ss
steel spray equipment. This does not affect your air compressor, but
many affect the equipment being used.
3. Ne ver dire c tly inb ale the compres sed air produ ced by a c o m p-
ressor. It is not suitable for breathing purposes.
WARNING-A POTENTIAL HAZARD THAT COULD
CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR LOSS OF LIFE.
1. D o not w e ld on t he ai r ta nk of t h is compress or. Weld i ng on the
air compressor tank strength and cause an extremely hazardous
condition. Welding on the tank in any manner will void the warranty.
2 . Ne v er us
e an elect ric a ir compres sor outdo ors wh en i t is raining
or on a wet surface, as it many cause an electric shock.
3 . T h is u nit sta rts automatica l ly. ALWA Y S sh ut off t he compressor,

remove the plug from the outletr, and bleed all pressure from the
system before servicing the compressor, and when the compressor is
not in use.
4. Chcck the manufacturer'rs maximum pressure rating for air t o o ls
and accessories. Compressor outlet pressure must be regu lated so as to
never exceed the maximum pressure rating of the tool.
5. H igh temperatu r es a nd mov i ng pa rts a re pres e nt un d er the s h r oud.
To prevent burns or other injuries, D
O NOT operate with the shroud
removed. Allow the copmpressor parts to cool before handling or
servicing.
6. Be cert a in to re ad all lab els wh en y ou are spray i ng pain ts or toxic
materials, and follow the safety instructions. Use a respirator mask if
there is a chance of inhaling anything you are spraying. Read all
insrtuctions and be sure that your respirator mask will protect you.
7. Alw a ys w e ar saf e ty gogg les or glas s es wh en usi ng an air c
o m pressor.
Never point any nozzle or sprayer toward a person or any part of the
body.
8. D o n ot adj u st the press ure swi t ch or re l ief va lve f or a ny reason, D o i ng
so voids all warraanties, They have been pre-set at the factory for the
maxinum pressure of this unit.
CAUTION-A POTENTIALL HAZARD THAT MAY CAUSE
MODERA TE INJU RY O R DAMA GE TO EQUIPMENT.
1. Dr a in t h e mosit u re fr o m t h e ta nk on a da ily ba s i s. A clean,
dry tank will help prevent corrosion.
2. P u ll t he press u re re l ief va l ve r i n g da ily to ens u re t h at t he valve
is functioning properly, and to clear the valve of any possible Obstructions.
3. T o prov i de pro p er ventilat i on f or cooli n g, t he compres s or must
be
kept a minimum of 31cm(12 inches) form the nearest wall, in a
well-ventilated area.
4. Fast en t he compres s or do w n secur ely if transport i ng is n e c essary,
Pressure must be released from the tank before transporting.
5. Prot ect t he air h o se a nd elect ric co rd fr o m dam a ge and p u n cture.
Inspect them weekly for weak or worn spots, and replace if necessary.
WARNING!
DISCONNECT POWER AND RELE ASE ALL
PRESSURE FROM THE SYSTEM BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL, SERVICE,
RELOCATE OR PERFORM ANY
MAINTENANCE.
1. Follow all local electrical and safety codes as
well as National Electrical Codes( NEC ) and
Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
2. Electric motors and starters must be securely
and adequately grounded using a three-pronged
Outlet.

6PREPARATION FOR STARTING
7OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT
(1)The place to set the compressor should be clean, dry and ventilated.
(2)Keep the use voltage within ±5% of rated.
(3)Keep the oil level in the red circle leveler.
(4)Recommend compressor oil use SAE30 or L-DAB 100 over 10,and use SAE10 or
L-DAB68 be low 10 .
(5)Open the outlet valve, set the knob of pressure switch in position on (Fig.2),let the
compressor ru n 10 m inutes wi th no lo ad to en sure lu br
icating th e m oving pa rts be fore re gular
serivce.
(1)Th e compress or is comtrolle d b y pressu re switc h whe n norm al working .It ca n b e stoped
automatically as pressure in creasing to the maximun and restart as pressure decreasing to the
minimun. The rated pressure has been adjusted when produced.Don't
change it carelessly.As soon
as motor switched off the compressed air in the discharge pipe should be released through the
release valve under the switch. This is the necessary condition for restart,or the motor will be
damaged. The rated pressure can be adjusted by turning the adjusting bolt of the switch(Fig,2).
( 2) Th e outp ut pressu re of compresse d a ir ca n b e adjuste d b y regulatin g valve.(Fig,2).
( 3) Whe n th e comprss or in runnin g nee d b e stopped,on ly s et th e kno b of pressu re switc h in
