Thank you for your purchase! Music System Home mixes classic design and the latest technology to
create a simple solution for wireless audio in the home. Encased in a furniture grade wood cabinet
and finished with a high-quality Gabriel® fabric grill, this piece elevates the craftsmanship and tech-
nology of the ART by Tivoli Audio product line.
These DAB, FM, AM, CD, WiFi and Bluetooth® enabled radios allow for a variety of configurations
to meet your playback preferences. Whether it’s a single Music System Home playing in your kitchen,
paired to another ART speaker in your dining room in a stereo configuration, or your Spotify party
playlist playing throughout your home in a multi-room system, the Music System Home offers a sim-
ple and flexible solution to best fit your surroundings and enhance your world through music. With
the Music System Home, you can even add Amazon Alexa functionality to get even more out of it.
Start with one, learn how simple it is to build upon, and match your style in each room.
We know you are eager to begin listening to your new purchase, but in order to take full advantage of
what it is capable of, please take a moment to read this owner’s manual and the safety instructions. If
you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your dealer or Tivoli Audio.
Please save the original packing should you ever need to ship your radio.

Guide to Features
Front Panel
POWER/SOURCE/VOLUME KNOB: Push and hold to turn the unit on or off. Short press to cycle
between WiFi, CD, FM (if available), AM, DAB (if available), Bluetooth, and Auxiliary. Rotate right to
increase volume, rotate left to decrease volume.
SETTINGS/ACTION KNOB: The Settings menu allows you to use additional features such as the
built in Sleep Timer, Alarm, and Brightness control. Additionally, if Alexa is enabled, a short press will
enable Push-To-Talk and a long press will toggle Privacy Mode. See the “Settings” section of this
manual for more information.
BEZEL CONTROL:
In DAB mode: Turn left to tune down. Turn right to tune up. Short press to add a station to your
presets. Push and hold to enter preset mode. Double press to reload DAB station list.
In FM mode: Turn left to tune down. Turn right to tune up. Short press to add a station to your
presets. Push and hold to enter preset mode. Double press to scan.
In AM mode: Turn left to tune down. Turn right to tune up. Short press to add a station to your
presets. Push and hold to enter preset mode. Double press to scan.
In CD mode: Turn left to go to previous track. Turn right to go to next track. Short press to play/
pause. Push and hold to eject.
In Bluetooth mode: Turn left to go to previous track. Turn right to go to next track. Short press to
play/pause. Push and hold to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
In Auxiliary mode: No function. Operate controls from connected device.
In WiFi Streaming mode: Turn left to go to previous track. Turn right to go to next track. Short
press to play/pause. Push and hold to change music service.

Rear Panel
A. ETHERNET: Connect directly to your router if WiFi is not available.
B. SETUP: Tap to enable your speaker to be connected to your home network
C. SERVICE: Service port. Only for use by an Authorized Tivoli service center.
D. PARTY MODE: Hold to send the music from that speaker to all other connected speakers.
E. AUX IN: Plug in music directly for a standalone experience.
F. ADD/DROP: If the speaker is connected to a group, holding this button removes it from the
group. If the speaker is not connected to a group, pressing this button connects it to the next
available group. More information can be found in the “Add/Drop” section of this manual.
G. LINE OUT: Connect an external speaker.
H. MUTE: Enables or disables audio mute.
I. AM ANT: Connect the included AM Antenna.
J. DC POWER: Plug in your Tivoli power adapter to power your Music System Home.
K. FM/DAB ANT: Connect the included FM/DAB Antenna.

WiFi Mode
Setup
Follow the following steps to connect your radio to your home WiFi network.
1. Turn on your unit using the power button.
2. Download and open the Tivoli Audio Wireless App
3. Scroll left/right on the app to select the type of speaker you are setting up.
4. On the back of the unit, press the “Setup” button, then press “Next”.

5. Select “Go To Settings” to go to your WiFi networks to connect to the unit.
6. Select “Tivoli_XXXXXX” in your WiFi settings. After your device has confirmed connection to the
Tivoli network, return to the Tivoli Audio Wireless App.
7. You should see that you are connected to the unit. Then select “Search for Speaker” to enter
your WiFi settings.

8. In the dropdown menu, select the WiFi network you will be connecting the unit to, and then enter
in your password information. Please note this must be a 2.4GHz network; 5GHz networks are normal-
ly labeled and are not compatible with Tivoli Audio products. After entering your WiFi network infor-
mation, select “Save Speaker”.
9. After you have saved your WiFi settings in the speaker, you are ready to set up a Zone. It
may take approximately 30 seconds for the speaker to connect to your WiFi network.
Note: If the set up is not complete and you receive a failed to connect message, please start over and
repeat steps 1-9.

Sources
Select music source to play on a zone. Please note, some in app available sources require registered
account login information. For more information on playing DAB/FM/AM radio over WiFi or Blue-
tooth or CD over WiFi, consult the specific section for the desired feature.

Activating Alexa and Using Alexa in a Music System Home
Please note some features and music services will be disabled after activating Alexa.

Activating Alexa
1. After the unit is set up on your WiFi network, create a zone, with the Music System Home as
the master. Enter the source list and check to see if Amazon Alexa Voice Services are available in your
country.
2. If you are in an area that has Alexa Voice Services, you will be taken to a screen to Activate
Alexa. If the app says you are not and there has been a mistake, please contact customer service for
assistance.

3. Select Activate Alexa, and then select the language your Amazon account is setup with. After
selecting the language, select “Done”.
4. Confirm your choice to active. Hit yes, and then you will see a firmware download begin, fol-
lowed by an install. This process can take a bit of time (5-10 minutes at most).

5. When the unit is done downloading firmware, you will receive a pop-up notification in the app,
and the Music System Home will now be in Standby. Turn on the Music System Home and go to the
Zones page in the app. The Music System Home with Alexa will automatically create a zone by itself.
You cannot add speakers to this zone, use this zone in party mode, or delete this zone.
6. You will receive a popup notification on the center of the screen to Login With Alexa. If not,
select the MSYH zone and go into the source list. You will now see Amazon Alexa. Select it.

7. Select “Sign In with Amazon” at the bottom.
8. You will now be taken to a webpage for Amazon where you will sign in with your Amazon ac-
count credentials.

9. Once you’ve successfully signed in, you’ll be taken to this screen in the app. To continue, either
select the X or Arrow that is in the top left corner.
10. You’re all set! To be able to fully realize the potential of your Alexa-enabled Music System
Home, download the Amazon Alexa App.

Deactivating Alexa:
1. Go to the source menu of the MSYH and Select Alexa

2. On the next page, select “Deactivate Alexa”, and select “Yes” in the pop up.
3. A firmware update will start. Once completed, the unit will go to Standby.
