Economic heating operation and saving energy
Heating costs can be reduced by precise regu-
lation
of
the heating system and by adjusting the
heating times to your requirements.
Modern control systems guarantee optimal
comfort, minimum energy consumption and
simple operation despite the technical
flexibility.
The Buderus Ecomatic system is very flexible.
If
you observe the following instructions, you will
be saving energy and minimising environmental
pollution.
When your system is first
put
into operation,
get the technician to explain how it works
in
detail and ask when anything
is
still not clear.
Make sure that the optimal heating curve is set
for your own particular hou
se.
Carefully read the operating instructions
pertaining to your heating system.
Have
th
e hea
ti
ng system serviced regularl
y.
Ventilate rooms shortly but thoroughly in
winter.
Do
not let rooms cool down.
Check the settings
of
the thermostats
in
individual zones on a regular basis.
Do
not
se
t the ro
om
temperature or domestic
water temperature higher than necessary.
Check to ensure that the programmed
schedule (norma
l/
setback) agrees with your
normal daily routine, both for space heating
and domestic water heating. Adjust the stan-
dard progr
am
to your individual requirement
s.
Use
the summer/winter changeover for
seasonal transition periods.
Avoid frequent changes
in
room temperature
and domestic water settings.
Allow adequate time for any adjustments to
become effective. Wait until the next day before
making further
ad
justments.
An
agreeable room climate not only depends
on
the room temperature but also
on
the air
humidity. The room seems to be colder when
the air is dryer. Room plants can improve the
air humidity.
