eXtreme Indoor/Outdoor Thermo House
Instructions for Use Important Precautions
Instructions for the Heated Bed
Thank you for your purchase of the eXtreme Indoor/Outdoor Thermo House. Your heated Thermo House will provide
years of warmth and comfort for your pet. Intended for both indoor and outdoor use, our eXtreme Thermo House can be
used in the garage, on the porch, or in the barn.
Warning: Because this is an electrical product, carefully read all directions and precautions before operating. If you
fail to properly follow all instructions and directions, this may lead to electrical shock or fire, which may cause
serious bodily injury.
Care Instructions: The heated pad of your eXtreme Indoor/Outdoor Thermo House may be cleaned with a damp
cloth after it has been unplugged. After it is thoroughly dry, it may be plugged in again.
The heated pad should be placed directly on a
hard, flat surface inside of the Thermo House.
Pull the air valve out of the plush heating pad
cover. Plug the bed into a 110–120-volt AC outlet.
Allow about 15 to 30 minutes for the heated pad
to warm up and expand fully. It will feel a slight bit
warm to the touch. After it has expanded, push
down on the center of the bed to remove a little
bit of air. The built-in thermostat automatically
regulates the temperature.
After it initially warms up, your heated pad will
feel a bit cooler to the touch. It is designed this
way for energy-efficiency. When your pet is lying
on the bed, the heated pad will warm to a com-
fortable temperature, even when the weather is
at its coldest.
To test your heated pad, place a blanket or pillow
over a portion of your pad. After a few minutes
have passed, place your hand under the object to
feel the warmth that your pet will be feeling.
When not in use, unplug, clean and store your
heated pad.
Save these instructions for future reference.
The heated pad is an electrical device that must only
be operated in a covered location, such as inside of
your Thermo House. When using electrical applianc-
es, follow all basic safety precautions, including the
following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT immerse cord, plug or appliance in
water or any other liquid, in order to protect
against electrical hazards.
When used near children or by children, close
supervision is needed.
When not in use, ALWAYS unplug it from the
outlet.
DO NOT puncture the plastic cover for any
reason.
Never operate any electrical appliance if the cord
or plug has been damaged. DO NOT operate if
the appliance malfunctions or has become
damaged in any way.
Use with a 110–120-volt AC ONLY.
DO NOT COVER YOUR HEATED BED with
blankets or other fabric. This is because other
fabrics may not allow the heat to properly radiate
and could cause the pad to fail.
When you use the pad outside, this unit must be
plugged into a grounded electrical outlet that has
been rated for outdoor use. Should you not have
a properly grounded outlet, a certified electrician
may be contacted to install one.
Be certain that the cord exits your Thermo
House, therefore keeping the cord out of it.
