QUICK START GUIDE

STEP 1
Connect the Q-SEE PoE
Switch via port 17 or 18
to your Router using an
Ethernet cable.
STEP 2
Connect your camera(s) to
one of the switch PoE Ports.

NOTE: Which port you
connect a camera to
will not matter. The first
camera connected will
be assigned to the first
available channel.

STEP 3
Right click the mouse on
the NVR and select Camera
Registration.

STEP 4
Click Search to update the list of cameras. The QCN8093B camera
and certain other camera models must be initialized before being
added when connecting to a PoE switch. If a camera is not initialized
it will appear with a Grey status icon. Select the check box for the
Camera(s) you wish to add.

STEP 5
Select Initialize.

STEP 6
Initialization will
apply the current
NVR password to
your cameras to
enhance security.
Click Next Step.

STEP 7
The IP Address
of your camera(s)
will be displayed.
Click Next Step.
STEP 8
Select Finished
once the
initialization is
completed.

Select the check box for the Camera(s) you wish to add to your
NVR. Click Add.

STEP 10
Cameras will appear once their status changes to Online.
