Standard equipment
The kitchen machines are part of the
basic equipment of every modern kit-
chen. They are widely used to prepare
food in small and medium-sized house-
holds, and make work in the kitchen
less time-consuming and easier. They
are particularly useful for families that
have small children because kitchen
machines make the preparation of food
for toddlers that much easier. They can
also be used to make pastry, for whip-
ping egg whites and cream as well as
for chopping boiled and fresh fruit and
vegetables.

The benefits of the mixer set type 281
are its low weight, ease of operation
and simple access to the control ele-
ments as well as its high performance
capability. The appliance can be used
manually as well as in a free-standing
mode. It has two drive outputs for hol-
ding the attachments which are two
mixers, two kneading hooks and a
mixer fixture. Handling is very simple.
There are several versions of the mixer
sets each with different attachments.
The equipment described in the opera-
ting instructions can be used in all ver-
sions of the appliance.

Operation and use
ched immediately independent of the
slide control setting.
By pressing and holding one of the
"turbo" keys, the maximum speed is
achieved. After the "turbo" key is relea-
sed, the appliance returns to the speed
previously set by the slide control. The
"turbo" keys are mechanically locked
when the slide control is at the "0" set-
ting.
At the top of the appliance there is a
handle cover made of a material which
makes handling of the appliance easier.
The power cable can be wrapped aro-
und this handle.
At the bottom of the appliance there are
two openings next to each other for the
kneading hooks or the mixer attach-
ments.
The mixer attachments are used for
mixing egg whites, yolks with sugar,
creams and for mixing omelettes and
egg cakes.
The kneading hooks are used for cake
mixtures, bread mixture, gingerbread
mixture etc.

to the settings: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the
ejection key.
The appliance can be switched off by
switching the slide control to „0“.
By switching the slide control from "0"
to the right, the appliance is switched
on.
The settings 1 to 5 indicate the follo-
wing operating levels. By switching the
slide control towards the setting 5 the
speed is increased.
The release key is positioned next to
the slide control. This releases the
kneading hooks or the mixer attach-
ments. This key has a locking function
which prevents the parts from being
accidentally released during operation.
The appliance also has two "turbo"
keys, one on the left and one on the
right of the appliance for right-handed
and left-handed users. The "turbo" key
allows the maximum speed to be rea-

model) should be placed in the opening
which is marked with a star. If the mixer
attachments or kneading hooks are
wrongly inserted, the mixture can rise
and splash.
The amount of mixture in the beaker
should not exceed the height of the
working parts of the mixer attachments
or kneading hooks.
The operating time of the appliance
with inserted mixer attachments or
kneading hooks may not exceed 10
minutes.
After finishing, set the slide control to
"0". Then press the release key and
remove the mixer attachments or knea-
ding hooks.
