SINK STRAINER - HEAVY PATTERN

Installation Instructions:

1. Turn water off at the faucet

2. Remove existing basket and clean thoroughly.

3. Take lock nut and washer off of cup and set aside.

4. Apply putty along the rim of the strainer cup. (Roll up the putty in your hand to make a

bead) Do not leave any gaps.

5. With the putty on the cup place the cup into the sink hole. Press down very hard with

even pressure around the rim. The putty will squeeze out all around the rim.

6. Move under the sink and remove any excess putty from the bottom. (Do not push up on

the cup and break the seal)

7. Place the locknut washer then the friction(paper) washer then screw on the locknut.

8. Connect the drain tailpiece to the strainer with slip nut.

9. Run water and test for leaks.
