1.Registering the first user
* Note that you will not be able to proceed to the graph display screen without registering at least one
user.
A screen appears for registering a user name. Enter the user name you wish to register.
* When registering a user name, be careful of the following:
You cannot proceed without entering a user name.
There is no limit on the number of letters in the user name, but we recommend keeping it within the
entry cell.
You cannot use the following characters in the user name: \ / : * ? “ < > | , ;
After the registration, a window will open automatically. You can now select the file with your blood pressure
values. Insert the SD memory card in the SD card slot of your computer. Now, select the file in the already
opened window. The file has the extension “.CSV. Click on the file and then on “Open. Alternatively, you can
also double-click on the file to open it. Then a graph with your measured values will appear on your screen.
Please note that you cannot complete the registration if you do not select any .CSV file.

In the Start menu, click “Display charts” to display the screen shown on the next page.
With the default setting shown on the next page, the details page, day mode (with final day at right-hand
edge), and graphs start in average mode, displaying all time periods and pulse rate but not displaying
memos.
Click on any of “Details”, “By Time Period” and “Summary” tab to select the page you want to display.
When you are in the graph mode and want to select another user, close the graph window. You will then

Displaying Details page
This page shows blood pressure values and pulse rate values during a specific period of time (day, week,
month or year).
1.Description of displayed content
A. Date display
Displays dates of displayed data.
B. Displays period and number of measurements.
*On the Details page, you cannot use the “Overall” and “Select Period” modes.
C. Displays numerical data for systolic pressure by time period (average value).
D. Displays the average systolic pressure and the standard deviation (range).
Calculated using data from the period beginning with the first displayed day and ending with the final
displayed day. (In “Single” mode, the single data selected from the entire period by clicking Single a
number of times is displayed.)
E. Displays the average diastolic pressure and the standard deviation (range).
Calculated using data from the period beginning with the first displayed day and ending with the final
displayed day. (In “Single” mode, the single data selected from the entire period by clicking Single a
number of times is displayed.)
F. Displays numerical data for the diastolic pressure by time period.
G. Displays the average pulse rate.
Calculated using data from the period beginning with the first displayed day and ending with the final
displayed day. The average pulse rate is denoted by a straight line (dark color) in the graph area.
H. Displays numerical data for the average pulse by time period.
I. Blood pressure graph display area
Systolic and diastolic pressure are plotted using “•” in each time period (Morning: pink, Noon: light
green, Afternoon: purple, and Night: light blue).
For a better overview the points are connected respectively.
J. Pulse rate graph display area
Average pulse rates are plotted using “•” in each time period (Morning: pink, Noon: light green,
Afternoon: purple, and Night: light blue). An average pulse reference line (darker colored straight line)
is plotted in the graph area.

3.Changing the graph mode
On the details page, you can switch between “Average” and “Single”.
The calculations for average value and range (standard deviation) will be different for “Average” mode
and “Single” mode. In “Average” mode, the average of all data during the selected period will be
displayed, but in “Single” mode, a single selected data in the selected period will be displayed. Each time
“Single” is clicked, the selected data will change to the next data in order from the first data to the last
data in the selected period. (If “Single” is clicked when the last data is displayed, the display will return to
the first data.)
For details, please refer to the items in 1.Description of displayed content.
Click

4.Changing the time period mode
You can select any of “Morning”, “Noon”, “Afternoon”, “Night”, and “All” as the time period mode.
In “All” mode, data from “Morning”, “Noon”, “Afternoon” and “Night” (i.e. all the time periods) is plotted.
The various time periods are defined as follows.
Morning: 03:00 to 10:59
Noon: 11:00 to 13:59
Afternoon: 14:00 to 17:59
Night: 18:00 to 02:59 of following day. (Note that the 00:00 to 02:59 are included as part of the
previous day.)
In each time period mode, the average values and range (standard deviation) are calculated differently.
Single: Only the first measurement of each time of day is displayed.
Press the “Single” button to display all other readings starting with the oldest reading.
Average: The mean value of two or more readings of each time of day is displayed.
As for calculation of the mean value and range, “Average” uses and calculates all data, “Single” uses and
calculates only the displayed data.

area) will appear at the bottom edge of the page.
* Note that in memo display mode you cannot edit or move memos.
When memos overlap as shown below and you cannot see the comment in the memo at the back, left-

Displaying By Time Period page
On this page, blood pressure and pulse data from any given range of dates can be displayed by time
period.
1.Description of displayed content
A. Date display
Displays dates of data shown.
B. Systolic Pressure, Range
The average systolic pressure and range (standard deviation) are displayed for each time period.
C. Diastolic Pressure, Range
The average diastolic pressure and range (standard deviation) are displayed for each time period.
D. Pulse rate
The average pulse rate is displayed for each time period.
E. Displays the average systolic pressure (average value) and range (standard deviation).
Values from all of Morning, Noon, Afternoon and Night are used to calculate this average.
The range of dates used in the calculation is the range shown in the Date display (A. Date display).
The method of calculation differs depending on the graph mode (Average, Single).
In “Average” mode, the average of all data during the selected period will be displayed, but in “Single”
mode, a single selected data in the selected period will be displayed. Each time “Single” is clicked, the
selected data will change to the next data in order from the first data to the last data in the selected
period. (If “Single” is clicked when the last data is displayed, the display will return to the first data.)
F. Displays the average diastolic pressure (average value) and range (standard deviation).
Values from all of Morning, Noon, Afternoon and Night are used to calculate this average.
The range of dates used in the calculation is the range shown in the Date display (A. Date display).
The method of calculation differs depending on the graph mode (Average, Single).
