OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the scale on a level surface. Place the weighing bowl on bracket.

2. Set the scale to zero by winding the adjustable nut until the dial points to zero.

Check for accuracy by slightly pressing down on the tray and releasing it.

3. Load the scale slowly. Heavy weights or sudden impacts may damage the spring.

4. For best accuracy, read the dial straight on while measuring the weight.

CAUTION: Avoid exceeding the MAXIMUM weight of the scale, as this could damage

interior parts and/or cause a malfunction.

MAINTENANCE

1. Use a soft cloth and mild cleanser to clean the weighing tray. Do NOT use gas, lacquer

thinner or other strong chemicals as these could damage the surface of the tray.

2. Never remove or tamper with the inner parts of the scale.

3. Do not allow water, acid, alkali or other corrosive liquids to get inside the scale housing
