2. Safety Instructions

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer

will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• A qualified technician should install and service this device.

• Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device

against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

• This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have a qualified

person carry out the electric connection.

• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.

• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.

• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.

• The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.

• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases,

shall be placed on apparatus.

• Mechanical wear are not covered by the warranty.

• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.

Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.

Keep this device away from rain and moisture.

Unplug the mains lead before opening the housing.

3. General Guidelines

• This device is designed for professional use on stage, in discos, theatres, etc. The VDSCD2000 should only be

used indoors with the included power adapter connected to an alternating current of max. 230VAC / 50Hz.

• Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.

• Select a location where the device is protected against extreme heat, dust and moisture.

• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified

people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.

• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.

• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.

• Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,

crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

4. Precautionary Measures

• Before Switching off the Power

Once you are finished using the VDSCD2000, be sure to close the disc holder before switching off the device. Do not

try to close the disc holder when the CD player has been switched off but switch on the device and press the

OPEN/CLOSE button.

• Your Compact Discs

- Do not allow fingerprints, oil or dust to get on the surface of the disc. Clean a dirty disc with a soft and dry cloth.

Avoid using water, alcohol, benzene, record spray, electrostatic-proof chemicals or silicone-treated cloths.

- Always handle the discs carefully to prevent damaging the surface. Hold them by the edges and do not leave

them lying around.

- Always remove the disc from the disc holder and replace it in its case after use.

- Avoid exposing the compact disc to direct sunlight, dust, humidity or heat.

- Do not bend the disc.

- Do not enlarge the centre hole or write on the compact disc.

- Condensation can form if a compact disc is brought from a cold environment into a warm one. Do not wipe off the

compact disc but leave it until it has reached room temperature.

5. Installation & Connection

• Installation

Mount the main unit into your console or 19” rack system, the front panel within an angle

of 15°. If the angle is steeper than 15°, the discs may not load or unload properly.

The control panel’s LCDs are designed to be clearly visible within the angles shown in the

figure. Mount the control unit so that the visual angle is within this range.

• Connection

1. Make sure the unit is switched off.

2. Plug the RCA plug into the input of your mixer.

3. Plug the control cables into the control sockets of the main unit.

Make sure to use the included cables.

6. Description

• Main Unit Front Panel (fig. 1)

1. DISC HOLDER

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open or to close the tray. Place the CD in the holder.

2. OPEN/CLOSE

The tray cannot be opened during play. Press STOP before pressing this button.

3. POWER ON/OFF SWITCH

Press to turn the CD player on or off.

4. AUDIO OUTPUT

Audio signal output from each player.

5. REMOTE CONTROL CONNECTOR

Connect to the control unit using the included control cord.

6. DIGITAL OUTPUT JACK

Digital music signal. Connect the output to the respective input of a digital amplifier.

7. DIGITAL OUTPUT SWITCH

With an enabled digital output, the shock protection will be disabled.

8. POWER SOURCE INPUT JACK

Input voltage from the POWER SOURCE INPUT JACK.

1. BACKWARDS SCAN

Press to perform a backwards scan during play mode.

2. FORWARDS SCAN

Press to perform a forwards scan during play mode.

3. LCD

4. CUE

Press this button in play mode to return to the position at which playing started.

5. TIME

Press this button to switch the time display between the elapsed time, remaining time or total remaining

time.

6. BACKWARDS SKIP

Use this button to go back to the beginning of the track.

7. SGL/CTN

Press this button to switch between single and continuous play modes.

8. +10

Press once to skip 10 tracks. Press again to go back 10 tracks.

9. PROG

Press to enter the program mode and to stop the CD.

10. FORWARDS SKIP

Skip to the next track.

11. PITCH SLIDER

Use the slider to adjust the pitch. Slide up to increase, slide down to decrease.

12. OPEN/CLOSE

Press to open or to close the disc tray. The tray cannot be opened during play.

13. FRAME SEARCH WHEEL

Turn the wheel to perform search mode during pause mode or pitch bending during play mode. While in

play mode, turn it clockwise to increase the pitch (+ 16%) or anticlockwise to decrease the pitch (- 16%).

14. PLAY/PAUSE

Start the playing of the CD. Press once to start playing, press once again to set to pause, press once again

to resume playing.

15. PITCH –

Press this button to slow down the CD. Release the button to return to normal playing speed.

16. PITCH +

Press this button to accelerate the CD. Release the button to return to normal playing speed.

17. PITCH BUTTON

Press this button to enable or to disable the BPM adjustment with the pitch sliders.

18. PITCH INDICATOR

The indicators light during pitch mode.

19. LOOP

Press this button to set the loop start point. Press again to set the loop end point.

20. LOOP INDICATOR

The indicator lights when the loop mode is set.

21. CONTROL CONNECTOR

Connect to the REMOTE CONTROL CONNECTOR on the main unit using the included cable.

22. PLAY/PAUSE

Remote play and pause control. Never connect the jack with any voltage.

• LCD (fig. 5)

1. BAR INDICATOR

Bar indicator providing a visual display of the approximate position of the current track.

2. ELAPSED TIME

Elapsed time indication.

3. REMAINING/TOTAL TIME

Remaining time of the playing track or total remaining time of the CD.

4. TRACK

Selected track.

5. MINUTE

Current minute.

6. SECOND

Current second.

7. FRAME

Current frame.

8. SINGLE

When lit, playing will stop at the beginning of the next track.

9. CONTINUE

When lit, the CD player will play all tracks continuously.

10. PITCH DISPLAY

Indication of the BPM change rate (+/- 12%).

7. Operation

a. Opening and Closing the Disc Tray

• Turn on the unit. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the tray.

• Remember that the tray cannot be opened during playing to prevent the playing from being interrupted.

Stop the playing first and press the button to open.

b. Loading a CD

• Load a disc following the instructions in “4. Your Compact Disks”. The unit will show the total track

numbers for about 4 seconds and enter the cue mode.

• The cue point will be set automatically.

REMARK: Never place any object other than a CD (one CD at a time) into the tray. Always use the

OPEN/CLOSE button to open and to close the tray.

c. Selecting the Tracks

• Press a SKIP button once to select another track.

• Hold a SKIP button pressed to change tracks rapidly.

• When pressing the FORWARDS SKIP button while playing the last track, the first track will be selected. In

the same way, when pressing the BACKWARDS SKIP button while playing the first track, the last track will

be selected.

d. Starting Playing

• Press PLAY/PAUSE in pause or cue mode to start playing the track. The PLAY indicator lights.

• The point at which the playing starts is automatically stored as the cue point. Pressing the CUE button will

bring you back to that point.

e. Stop the Playing

You can stop the playing in two different ways:

• Press PLAY/PAUSE in play mode to pause at that point.

• Press CUE during in play mode to return to the cue point and to enter in pause mode.

f. Pausing

• Press PLAY/PAUSE to change between the play and the pause mode. The PAUSE indicator lights.

Following figure show the relation between play and pause.

1. Your VDSCD2000 has completed the cue or pause operation and is waiting for the play start command.

2. When pressing PLAY/PAUSE, playing starts and the cue point is stored in the memory.

3. Playing.

4. Pause mode is set when PLAY/PAUSE is pressed again.

5. Pausing.

6. Playing resumes when PLAY/PAUSE is pressed again.

7. Playing.

g. Cueing

Cueing is the action of preparing for playing.

• Press CUE to enter the cue mode. The player returns to the cue point end enters the pause mode. The

CUE and PAUSE indicators light. When pressing PLAY/PAUSE, playing starts from the cue point.

• When the track search operation is completed after pressing the SKIP button, the player automatically finds

the position at which the sound starts and cues there.

• If the CUE button is pressed after the search operation or the scanning operation, the player returns to the

cue point and enters the pause mode.

• Following figure shows the relation between the playing and the cue operation.

1. The player has completed the cue or pause operation and is waiting for the play start command.

2. When pressing PLAY/PAUSE, playing starts and the cue point is stored in the memory.

3. Playing.

4. Pause mode is set when PLAY/PAUSE is pressed again.

5. Pausing.

6. Playing resumes and the new cue point is stored in the memory when PLAY/PAUSE is pressed again.

7. Playing.

8. Press the CUE button.

9. The player returns to the cue point.

REMARK: When holding the CUE button pressed in the cue mode, playing will start from the cue point.

Releasing the button will make the player return to the cue mode. This allows you to check the cue

point.

h. Frame Search

This function allows you to monitor the sound at a certain section of the CD and manually change this position.

The frame search lets you set start points with great precision.

• In pause or cue mode, turn the FRAME SEARCH wheel to the left or to the right to start searching. The

point at which the sound starts is indicated on the LCD.

• If the time display and the CUE point are the same, the CUE indicator will light.

i. Scanning

This function allows you to move quickly forward or backward. This unit supports 7 different speeds depending

on how long you hold the SCAN button.

• Press the FORWARDS or the BACKWARDS SCAN button to scan. The CD moves rapidly forwards or

backwards. The current point is indicated on the LCD. Release the button to return to normal playing

speed.

j. Time Display

• Press the TIME button to select the time display mode.

1. Elapsed time of a track.

2. Remaining time of a track.

3. Total remaining time.

k. Matching the BPM (Beats Per Minute)

There are three tools you can use to match the BPM.

• The pitch slider to adjust the BPM statically.

• The pitch knob.

• The PITCH BEND button to change the BPM temporarily.

• The Pitch Slider

o Press the PITCH button.

o Slide the slider up to decrease the BPM, slide down to increase the BPM. The adjustment range is +/-

12%.

• The Pitch Knob

o In play mode, turn it clockwise to increase the BPM. Turn it anticlockwise to decrease the BPM. The

adjustment range is +/- 16%.

• The PITCH BEND button

o The BPM increases and decreases respectively while the PITCH + or the PITCH – button is pressed.

The adjustment range is +/- 16%.

o The CD will return to normal playing as soon as you release the button.

o Following figure shows an example on how to use the function. Here, both players are playing and the

BPM has already been matched with the pitch sliders.

l. Programmed Playing

• Press the PROGRAM button. The player will enter the program mode and the CD will stop playing.

• Select the desired track by pressing the SKIP button and press the PROGRAM button again. The selected

track will be added to the program sequence.

• Repeat the previous step to add more tracks (max. 20 tracks).

• Press PLAY/PAUSE to start the program from the first selection.

• Press the PROGRAM button to stop the playing. Hold the PROGRAM button pressed for more than 3

seconds to erase all the tracks from the program.

m. Loop Playing

• Press the LOOP button to set loop point A. The LOOP indicator will light.

• Press the LOOP button again to set point B. After point B has been set, the player will enter the loop mode

and play from point A to B repeatedly.

• Press the LOOP button again to cancel the loop. The LOOP indicator will turn off.

n. Relay

• Insert a CD onto both disc trays.

• Put both sides to single play mode. When CD 1 has finished, the player will start playing CD 2. You will see

CD 1 go into pause mode and return to the cue point. When CD 2 has finished, the player will start

replaying CD 1.

REMARK: The play command is sent at the end of each specified play. If the unit is in single mode the play

command will start at the end of the track. If the unit is in continuous mode the play command will

be sent at the end of the full CD. Two CDs will play continuously alternating from side to side. This

feature will also work in program mode. However, if the sides are also in single mode the number

of tracks programmed should be the same. Play will stop at the end of the last track.

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Cause Solution

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal

de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

• Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus.

• Om beschadiging te vermijden, zet u het toestel best niet aan onmiddellijk nadat het werd blootgesteld aan

temperatuurschommelingen. Wacht tot het toestel op kamertemperatuur gekomen is.

• Dit toestel valt onder beschermingsklasse I, wat wil zeggen dat het toestel geaard moet zijn. Een geschoolde

3. Algemene richtlijnen

• Dit toestel is ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik op podia, in disco's, enz. U mag dit toestel enkel binnenshuis

gebruiken door de meegeleverde adapter aan te sluiten op een wisselspanning van maximum 230VAC / 50Hz.

• Schud het toestel niet dooreen. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de installatie en de bediening van dit toestel.

• Installeer het toestel weg van extreme temperaturen, vochtigheid en stof.

• Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen mogen dit

toestel niet gebruiken. Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik.

• Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking wanneer u het toestel vervoert.

• Om veiligheidsredenen mag de gebruiker geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel.

• Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen,

brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.

Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan die onder stroom staan om

dodelijke elektroshocks

te vermijden.

Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en vochtigheid.

Verzeker u ervan dat het toestel niet aangesloten is op een stroombron alvorens het te openen.

4. Voorzorgsmaatregelen

• Voor u het toestel uitschakelt

Sluit de cd-lader alvorens de VDSCD2000 uit te schakelen. Probeer nooit de cd-lader te sluiten wanneer de cd-

speler is uitgeschakeld maar schakel de speler eerst terug in en sluit de lader door op OPEN/CLOSE te drukken.

• Uw cd’s

- Vermijd vingerafdrukken, vet of vuil op de cd. Maak een bevuilde cd schoon door middel van een zachte, droge

tissue. Gebruik geen water, alcohol, benzeen, sprays, antistatische producten of met siliconen behandelde

doekjes.

- Hanteer de cd’s met voorzichtigheid om krassen te vermijden. Houd een cd langs de rand vast en laat hem niet

rondslingeren.

- Verwijder de cd uit de lader en plaats hel terug in het doosje na gebruik.

- Stel de cd niet bloot aan direct zonlicht, stof, vochtigheid of hitte.

- Plooi de cd nooit.

- Maak het middengat van de cd niet groter.

- Als een cd van een koude in een warmere omgeving komt, vormt er zich condens op

het oppervlak van de cd. Droog de cd’s nooit maar wacht tot de condens verdwijnt.

5. Installatie en aansluiting

• Installatie

Installeer de hoofdeenheid in uw console of 19” rack en hel het frontpaneel niet meer dan

15°. De cd-speler zou de cd’s niet kunnen lezen wanneer de hellingshoek groter is dan 15°.

De LCD-schermen op het controlepaneel zijn duidelijk leesbaar binnen de hellingsgraad

weergegeven op de tekening. Installeer het controlepaneel zo dat de schermen leesbaar

blijven.

• Aansluiting

1. Schakel het toestel uit.

2. Steek de RCA-plug in de ingang van uw mengpaneel.

3. Steek de aansluitingskabels in de aansluitingen van het hoofdtoestel.

Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde kabels.

6. Omschrijving van het toestel

• Frontpaneel van de hoofdeenheid (zie fig. 1)

1. CD-LADER

Druk op OPEN/CLOSE om de cd-lader te openen of te sluiten. Plaats de cd in de lader.

2. OPEN/CLOSE

De cd-lader kan niet geopend worden tijdens het afspelen van een schijfje. Druk op STOP alvorens op

deze knop te drukken.

3. AAN-UITSCHAKELAAR (POWER)

Druk om de cd-speler in of uit te schakelen.

4. AUDIO-UITGANG

Uitgang van het audiosignaal van elke speler.

5. AANSLUITING NAAR BEDIENINGEENHEID

Sluit aan de bedieningeenheid met behulp van de meegeleverde aansluitkabel.

6. DIGITALE UITGANG

Digitaal muzieksignaal. Sluit de uitgang aan de ingang van een digitale versterker.

7. SCHAKELAAR DIGITALE UITGANG

Zet deze schakelaar op ON om de antischokbuffer uit te schakelen.

8. VOEDINGSAANSLUITING

Aansluiting voedingskabel.

• Frontpaneel bedieningeenheid (zie fig. 3)

1. ACHTERWAARTS SCANNEN

Druk om tijdens het afspelen achterwaarts te scannen.

2. VOORWAARTS SCANNEN

Druk om tijdens het afspelen voorwaarts te scannen.

3. LCD-SCHERM

4. CUE

Druk op deze knop om tijdens het afspelen terug te keren naar het punt waar het afspelen is begonnen.

5. TIME

Druk op deze knop om te schakelen tussen verstreken tijd, resterende tijd en totaal resterende tijd.

6. VORIG SPOOR

Gebruik deze knop om u naar het beginpunt van het spoor te verplaatsen.

7. SGL/CTN

Druk op deze knop om te schakelen tussen enkele en continue weergave.

8. +10

Druk om 10 sporen over te slaan. Druk opnieuw om 10 terug te keren.

9. PROG

Druk om de programmeermodus weer te geven en het afspelen te stoppen.

10. VOLGEND SPOOR

Ga naar het volgende spoor.

11. SCHUIFKNOP PITCHREGELING

Gebruik deze schuifknop om de pitch te regelen. Schuif naar boven om te verhogen, schuif naar omlaag

om te verlagen.

12. OPEN/CLOSE

Druk om de cd-lader te openen of te sluiten. De lader kan niet geopend worden tijdens het afspelen.

13. ZOEKWIEL

Draai aan het wiel om tijdens de pauze een frame te zoeken of tijdens het afspelen de pitch bij te regelen.

Draai tijdens het afspelen het wiel naar rechts om de pitch te verhogen (+ 16%) of naar links om de pitch te

verlagen (- 16%).

14. PLAY/PAUSE

15. PITCH –

Houd deze knop ingedrukt om de afspeelsnelheid van de cd te verlagen. Laat de knop om de normale

afspeelsnelheid opnieuw in te stellen.

16. PITCH +

Houd deze knop ingedrukt om de afspeelsnelheid van de cd te verhogen. Laat de knop om de normale

afspeelsnelheid opnieuw in te stellen.

17. PITCH

Druk op deze knop om het afregelen van de BPM met de schuifknoppen mogelijk te maken.

18. AANDUIDING PITCH

Deze led licht op tijdens het afstellen van de pitch.

19. LOOP

Druk op deze knop om het beginpunt van de lus in te stellen. Druk opnieuw om het eindpunt vast te leggen.

20. AANDUIDING LUS

Deze led licht op tijdens de lusmodus.

21. AANSLUTING HOOFDEENHEID

Sluit aan met behulp van de meegeleverde aansluitkabel.

22. PLAY/PAUSE

Afstandsbediende weergave en pauze. Sluit nooit een spanning aan op deze aansluiting.

Huidig spoor.

Huidige minuut.

Huidige seconde.

7. FRAME

Huidig frame.

8. SINGLE

Verschijnt wanneer de cd-speler het spoor afspeelt en stopt.

9. CONTINUE

De speler speelt alle achtereenvolgens af.

10. PITCHAANDUIDING

Aanduiding van de BPM-afwijking (+/- 12%).

7. Bediening

a. De cd-lader openen en sluiten

• Schakel de cd-speler in. Druk op OPEN/CLOSE om de lader te openen.

• Onthoud dat de lader niet geopend kan worden tijdens het afspelen om ongewenste onderbrekingen te

vermijden. Stop de weergave en druk pas daarna op de knop.

b. Een cd laden

• Laad een cd volgens rekening houdend met paragraaf “4. Uw cd’s”. U ziet het totaal aantal sporen

gedurende 4 seconden verschijnen. De speler bevindt zich nu in cuemodus.

• Het cuepunt wordt automatisch vastgelegd.

OPMERKING: Plaats nooit een ander object dan uw cd’s (één cd tegelijk) in de lader. Druk op OPEN/CLOSE

om de lader te openen of te sluiten.

c. De sporen selecteren

• Druk op SKIP om een ander sport e selecteren.

• Houd SKIP ingedrukt om snel van spoor te veranderen.

• Drukt u op VOLGEND SPOOR tijdens het afspelen van het laatste spoor, dan begeeft de speler zich naar

het eerste spoor van de cd. Omgekeerd, drukt u op VORIG SPOOR tijdens het afspelen van het eerste

spoor, dan begeeft de speler zich naar het laatste spoor van de cd.

d. Het afspelen starten

• Druk op PLAY/PAUSE in pauze- of cuemodus om het afspelen te starten. De aanduiding licht op.

• Het punt waar het afspelen start, wordt automatisch opgeslagen als het cuepunt. Druk op CUE om u naar

dat punt te begeven.

e. Het afspelen stoppen

U kunt het afspelen op twee manieren stoppen.

• Druk op PLAY/PAUSE tijdens het afspelen.

• Druk op CUE tijdens het afspelen om naar het cuepunt terug te keren en het afspelen te pauzeren.

f. Pauzeren

• Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om te schakelen tussen de afspeel- en de pauzemodus. De aanduiding licht op. De

volgende afbeelding toont de verhouding aan van de afspeelmodus ten opzichte van de pauzemodus.

1. Uw VDSCD2000 is naar het cuepunt teruggekeerd of is gepauzeerd en wacht om af te spelen.

2. Wanneer u op PLAY/PAUSE drukt wordt het spoor afgespeeld en het cuepunt opgeslagen.

3. Afspelen.

4. Pauzemodus wanneer u opnieuw op PLAY/PAUSE drukt.

5. Pauze.

6. Hervatting van het afspelen wanneer u opnieuw op PLAY/PAUSE drukt.

7. Afspelen.

g. Cue

Cueën is de speler op het afspelen voorbereiden.

• Druk op CUE om de cuemodus weer te geven. De speler keert terug naar het cuepunt en pauzeert de cd.

De aanduidingen lichten op. De cd wordt afgespeeld vanaf het cuepunt wanneer u op PLAY/PAUSE drukt.

• Na de zoekopdracht (druk op SKIP) zal de speler automatisch het punt vinden waar het geluid begint en

daar het cuepunt vastleggen.

• Drukt u op CUE na de zoekopdracht of de scanopdracht, dan keert de speler terug naar het cuepunt en

pauzeert.

• De volgende afbeelding toont de verhouding aan tussen et afspelen en de cue.

9. De speler keert naar het cuepunt terug.

OPMERKING: Houd u CUE ingedrukt in de cuemodus, dan start de speler vanaf het cuepunt. Laat de knop

los en de speler keert naar het cuepunt terug. Zo kunt u het cuepunt controleren.

h. Zoekopdracht

Deze functie laat u toe na te gaan wanneer een cd eigenlijk start en tegelijk de startpositie te wijzigen. Zo kunt

u zeer nauwkeurig cuepunten bepalen.

• Draai in pauze- of cuemodus het wiel naar links of naar rechts om het zoeken te beginnen. Het beginpunt

wordt op de LCD weergegeven.

• Zijn de tijdsweergave en het cuepunt identiek, dan licht de aanduiding op.

i. Scannen

Hiermee kunt u zich snel naar voor of naar achter verplaatsen. Er zijn 7 verschillende scan snelheden

afhankelijk van hoelang u de SCAN-toets ingedrukt houdt.

• Druk op ACHTERWAARTS of VOORWAARTS SCANNEN. De cd verplaatst zich snel naar voor of naar

achter. Het huidige punt wordt op de LCD weergegeven. Laat de toets los om naar de normale

afspeelsnelheid terug te keren.

j. Tijdsweergave

• Druk op TIME om de tijdsweergave te selecteren.

1. Verstreken tijd van het spoor.

2. Resterende tijd van het spoor.

3. Totale resterende tijd.

k. De BPM (Beats Per Minute) synchroniseren

U kunt de BPM synchroniseren op drie manieren.

• Met de schuifknop.

• Met het wiel.

• Met PITCH BEND (tijdelijke wijziging).

• De schuifknop

o Druk op PITCH.

o Schuif de schuifknop naar omhoog om de BPM te verhogen, schuif naar omlaag om de BPM te

verlagen. Het bereik bedraagt +/- 12%.

• Het wiel

o Draai naar rechts om de BPM te verhogen tijdens het afspelen. Draai naar links om de BPM te

verlagen. Het bereik bedraagt +/- 16%.

• PITCH BEND

o Druk op PITCH + of PITCH – om de BPM te verhogen respectievelijk te verlagen. Het bereik bedraagt

+/- 16%.

o De cd keert terug naar de normale afspeelsnelheid wanneer u de knop loslaat.

o Volgende afbeelding toont hoe u de functie moet gebruiken. Beide spelers spelen een cd af en de BPM

werd met de schuifknoppen gesynchroniseerd.

l. Programma afspelen

• Druk op PROGRAM. De speler geeft de programmeermodus weer en stopt het afspelen.

• Selecteer het gewenste spoor met behulp van de SKIP-toets en druk op nieuw op PROGRAM. Het

geselecteerde spoor wordt aan het programma toegevoegd.

• Herhaal de boevenvermelde stap en voeg alle gewenste sporen toe (max. 20 sporen).

• Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om het programma af te spelen, startend vanaf het eerste spoor.

• Druk op PROGRAM om het afspelen te stoppen. Houd PROGRAM gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om

het programma en de inhoud te wissen.

m. Een lus afspelen

• Druk op LOOP om het beginpunt (punt A) van de lus te bepalen. De aanduiding licht op.

• Druk op LOOP om het eindpunt (punt B) van de lus te bepalen. Nadat punt B is bepaald, begeeft de speler

zich in de lusmodus en speelt hij de lus herhaaldelijk van punt A naar punt B af.

• Druk opnieuw op LOOP om de lust e wissen. De aanduiding dooft.

n. Aflossend afspelen

• Plaats een cd in elke cd-lader.

• Stel de single-modus in op beide spelers. De speler start cd 2 nadat hij cd 1 heeft afgespeeld. Cd 1 wordt

gepauzeerd en teruggeplaatst op het cuepunt. Na het afspelen van cd 2 start de speler opnieuw cd 1.

OPMERKING: De opdracht wordt gegeven aan het einde van elk spoor. In continuous-modus wordt de

opdracht aan het einde van cd gegeven. Twee cd’s zullen dus beurtelings afgespeeld worden.

Deze functie kan ook in de programmeermodus gebruikt worden. Hou er echter rekening mee

dat, in de single-modus, beide zijden eenzelfde aantal geprogrammeerde sporen moeten

tellen. Het afspelen stopt aan het einde van het laatste spoor.

8. Problemen en oplossingen
