Thank you for buying the PROCD330! This is a CD player with 7 different scan speeds and frame search. You can

program 20 tracks and you have pitch display. Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into

service and keep it for further reference. Your PROCD330 contains: 1 x main unit, 1 x control unit, 2 x audio cord,

connection cords and this manual. If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

2. Safety Instructions

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer

will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• A qualified technician should install and service this device according to the specifications in this manual. There

are no user serviceable parts in this device.

• Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device

against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.

• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.

• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.

• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

• Make sure there is no liquid penetrating the housing. This could damage the device.

• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.

3. General Guidelines

• This device is designed for professional use on stage, in discos, theatres, etc. The PROCD330 should only be

used indoors connected to max. 230VAC / 50Hz.

• This device is equipped with a laser. To obtain the best performance, use this device in a room with a

temperature between +5°C and +35°C.

• Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.

• Ensure enough ventilation when installing the device. Do not place the unit on a bed, blanket or any other object

that can easily catch fire. Do not obstruct the ventilation holes.

• Make sure the power cord is accessible at all times and is never obstructed.

• Disconnect the device from the mains to completely disconnect the power supply to the device.

• Do not expose the device to dripping or splashing liquids. Never place objects filled with liquids on top of the

device.

Be very careful during the installation: touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.

Keep this device away from rain and moisture.

Do not open the cover to reduce the risk of electroshock or fire.

• Do not place the device on an unstable stand, table or shelf. Install it where the device cannot tip over.

• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified

people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.

• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.

• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.

• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.

• Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,

crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

4. Precautionary Measures

• Before Switching off the Power

Once you are finished using the PROCD330, be sure to close the disc holder before switching off the device. Do not

try to close the disc holder when the CD player has been switched off but switch on the device and press the

OPEN/CLOSE button. Disconnect the power cord from the mains to completely disconnect the power input.

• Your Compact Discs

- Do not allow fingerprints, oil or dust to get on the surface of the disc. Clean a dirty disc with a soft and dry cloth.

Avoid using water, alcohol, benzene, record spray, electrostatic-proof chemicals or silicone-treated cloths.

- Always handle the discs carefully to prevent damaging the surface. Hold them by the edges and do not leave

them lying around.

- Always remove the disc from the disc holder and replace it in its case after use.

- Avoid exposing the compact disc to direct sunlight, dust, humidity or heat.

- Do not bend the disc.

- Do not enlarge the centre hole or write on the compact disc.

- Condensation can form if a compact disc is brought from a cold environment into a warm one. Do not wipe off the

compact disc but leave it until it has reached room temperature.

5. Installation & Connection

• Installation

Mount the main unit into your console or 19” rack system, the front panel within an angle

of 15°. If the angle is steeper than 15°, the discs may not load or unload properly.

The control panel’s LCDs are designed to be clearly visible within the angles shown in the

figure. Mount the control unit so that the visual angle is within this range.

• Connection

1. Make sure the unit is switched off.

2. Plug the RCA plug into the input of your mixer.

3. Plug the control cables into the control sockets of the main unit.

Make sure to use the included cables.

6. Description

a. Main Unit

• Front Panel (fig. 1)

1. ON/OFF power button

Press the ON/OFF button to switch your unit on or off.

2. DISC TRAY

Place your disc into this tray.

3. OPEN/CLOSE button

Press this button to open or to close the tray. The disc tray cannot be opened during play. Stop the disc

before pressing this button.

• Rear Panel (fig. 2)

4. AUDIO OUTPUT

Audio signal output from each player.

5. CONTROL UNIT CONNECTION

Connect the main unit to the control unit through this connection using the included connection cord.

6. DIGITAL OUTPUT

Digital signal output to e.g. the digital input of an amplifier.

7. DIGITAL OUTPUT switch

Switch the digital output on or off only when there is no disc playing. With the digital output activated, the

will be disabled.

8. VOLTAGE SELECTOR switch

Select the needed voltage.

b. Control Unit

1. OPEN/CLOSE button

Press this button to open or to close the tray. The disc tray cannot be opened during play. Stop the disc

before pressing this button.

2. BACKWARD SKIP button ( )

Use this button to skip and go back to the beginning of the track.

3. +10 button

Press this button to skip 10 tracks.

4. FORWARD SKIP button ( )

Use this button to skip to the next track.

5. LCD

6. TIME button

Press this button to switch between the ELAPSED time and the REMAINING time display mode.

7. PITCH button

Press this button to enable or disable the BPM adjustment.

8. PITCH BEND + button

Hold this button pressed to speed up the playing CD. Release the button to return to the original speed.

9. PITCH BEND – button

Hold this button pressed to slow down the playing CD. Release the button to return to the original speed.

10. PITCH slider

Adjust the CD’s pitch. Slide up to decrease; slide down to increase the pitch

11. JOG & SHUTTLE wheels

JOG: In pause mode, if you turn the jog, the point at which the sound is being produced moves by a

number of frames corresponding to the number of clicks. Clockwise moves the point forward, counter

clockwise moves the point backwards. In play mode, the jog increases or decreases the speed of the

song (clockwise: increase, counter clockwise: decrease).

SHUTTLE: In play mode, turn to scan.

12. CUE button

Press the CUE button in play mode to return to the start position.

13. PLAY/PAUSE button

Use this button to start playing or pausing.

14. A button

Press this button to determine the beginning of the loop.

15. REPEAT button

Repeat one track or all tracks.

16. B button

Press this button to determine the end of the loop.

17. PROGRAM button

Enter the program mode by pressing this button. The CD will stop playing.

18. RELOOP button

Start the last saved loop.

19. SINGLE/CONTINUE button

Switch between the single and continuous play modes.

• Rear Panel (fig. 4)

20. MAIN UNIT CONNECTION

Connect the control unit to the main unit through this connection using the included connection cord.

21. PLAY/PAUSE

Control the play function and the pause function through the control jack. Never apply any voltage to these

jacks.

c. LCD Display

1. BAR indicator

This bar indicator provides a visual

display of the approximate position in

the track.

2. ELAPSED time

Indicates the elapsed time.

3. REMAINING time

Indicates the remaining time.

4. TRACK number

Number of the current playing track.

5. MINUTE indicator

Time in minutes of the track being played.

6. SECONDS indicator

Time in seconds of the track being played.

7. FRAME indicator

Indicates the current track frame.

8. SINGLE indicator

When this indicator is displayed, playing will stop at the beginning of the next track.

9. CONTINUE indicator

When this indicator is displayed, playing will continue.

10. PITCH

BPM change rate (max. +/- 12%).

7. Use

a. Opening and Closing the Disc Holder

o Turn on the unit. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open and to close the disc holder. The disc holder cannot be

opened so as to prevent accidental interruption. Stop the playing first and press the OPEN/CLOSE button.

b. Loading a Compact Disc

o Hold the compact disc by its edges and place it carefully in the disc holder. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to

close the disc holder. The LCD will show the number of tracks and the total playing time for about 4 seconds

before entering the cue mode. The cue point will automatically be set at the starting point of the first track.

o Do not place any foreign objects in the disc holder. Place one disc at the time.

c. Selecting the Tracks

o Press the or the button once to skip to the previous or to the next track.

o Hold the or the button pressed to skip faster.

o When a track has been selected during playing, playing will restart as soon as the selected track has been

reached.

o If the button is pressed while the first track is selected, the player will skip back to the last track. If the

button is pressed while the last track is selected, the player will skip to first track.

d. Playing the Disc

o Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the selected track.

o The point at which playing starts will automatically be stored as the cue point. Press the CUE button to return to

that cue point.

e. Stopping the Playback

There are two ways of stopping the playback:

- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button during playing.

- Press the CUE button during playing to return to the cue point and to pause the compact disc.

f. Pausing

o Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to change between play and pause.

g. Cueing

o Cueing is the action of preparing for playing.

o By pressing the CUE button, the player will enter the cue mode, return to the cue point and enter the pause mode.

When the PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed, playing resumes and starts from the cue point.

o After a track search, the CD player automatically positions itself at the point where the sound starts and cues

there (autocue function).

o In cue mode, hold the CUE button pressed. The CD player will start from the cue point. When you release the

CUE button, the CD player will automatically return to the cue mode. This allows you to check the cue point.

h. Frame Search

o This function allows you to monitor the sound at a certain section of the disc and manually change the position.

Use the frame search to determine the starting point with precision.

o Make sure you are in pause or cue mode. Turn the JOG wheel in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction to begin

searching. The starting point will be displayed on the LCD.

i. Scanning

o With the scanning function you can quickly move forward or backward. Use the SHUTTLE wheel to do so.

o This device supports 7 different scanning speeds. The scanning speed depends on how quick you turn the shuttle

wheel in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Release the SHUTTLE wheel to return to normal speed.

j. Time Display

Press the TIME button to select the time display mode.

1. Elapsed time

2. Remaining time

3. Total remaining time

k. Matching the Beats Per Minute (BPM)

You can match the BPM of both CDs using three tools:

- pitch SLIDER

- pitch JOG wheel

- pitch BEND buttons

1. Pitch SLIDER

o Press the PITCH button to enable the pitch adjustment slider.

o Slide up to decrease the BPM, slide down to increase the BPM. The range is +/- 12%.

2. Pitch JOG wheel

o While the CD is playing, turn the wheel in a clockwise direction to increase the BPM; turn in an anticlockwise

direction to decrease the BPM. The range is +/- 16%.

3. Pitch BEND buttons

o Hold the pitch BEND+ button pressed to increase the pitch; hold the pitch BEND- button pressed to decrease the

pitch.

o The BPM increase depending on how long you hold the button. Range is +/- 16%. Press the pitch BEND button to

increase or to decrease with accuracy.

o The CD will return to the pitch indicated by the slider once you release the button.

o Following figure shows an example of how to use the pitch bend function. Both players are playing and the BPM

has been matched with the pitch sliders.

l. Programmed Play

o Press the PROGRAM button. The CD player will enter the program mode and the CD will stop rotating.

o Select the desired track using the or the button. Press the PROGRAM button again. The selected track

will be added to the program sequence.

o Repeat the above step if necessary. You can program max. 20 tracks.

o Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the programmed sequence. The CD player will start with the first

selection. Press the PROGRAM button to stop the playing.

o Hold the PROGRAM button pressed for 3 seconds to erase the content of the programmed sequence.

m. Loop Play

o Press the A button to set the beginning of the loop.

o Press the B button to determine the end of the loop and to start the playing of the loop.

o To cancel the loop, press the B button again.

o Press the RELOOP button to start the last saved loop.

o To reset the loop, cancel the loop and then repeat the first two steps.

n. Repeat Play

o Press the REPEAT button once to repeat the current playing track.

o Press the REPEAT button again to repeat all the tracks.

o Press the REPEAT button once more to cancel.

o. Relay

o Insert a CD in both disc holders.

o Put both sides in single mode.

o Press the PLAY/PAUSE button for CD 1. The CD player will play one track from CD 1 before switching over to CD

2. The CD player will now play one track from CD 2, switch back to CD 1 and play the next track of that disc. The

CD player will alternatively play one track from CD 1 and CD 2 until all tracks have been played. You can also

program the sequence of the tracks to be played, keeping in mind to choose an equal number of tracks for both

CDs.

o When you put both sides in continue mode, the CD player will switch over to the next CD after having played all

the tracks of the first.

8. Troubleshooting

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal

de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

• Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus volgens de specificaties in deze

handleiding. De gebruiker mag geen onderdelen vervangen.

• De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning in de specificaties achteraan de handleiding.

3. Algemene richtlijnen

• Dit toestel is ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik op podia, in disco's, enz. U mag dit toestel enkel binnenshuis

gebruiken en aansluiten op een wisselspanning van maximum 230VAC / 50Hz.

• Dit toestel is uitgerust met een laser. Gebruik dit toestel in een ruimte met een kamertemperatuur tussen +5°C en

+35°C voor de beste resultaten.

• Schud het toestel niet dooreen. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de installatie en de bediening van dit toestel.

• Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie wanneer u het toestel installeert. Plaats het niet op een bed, een deken of een

voorwerp dat gemakkelijk brand vat. Blokkeer de ventilatierooster niet.

• Zorg ervoor dat de voedingskabel altijd binnen handbereik blijft en nooit verhinderd is.

• Ontkoppel het toestel van het lichtnet om de voeding naar het toestel volledig uit te schakelen.

• Stel het toestel niet bloot aan druppelend of opspattend vloeistof. Plaats geen objecten gevuld met vloeistof op

het toestel.

• Plaats het toestel nooit op een wankel statief, tafel of rek. Installeer het toestel waar het niet kan omver vallen.

• Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen mogen dit

toestel niet gebruiken. Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik.

• Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking wanneer u het toestel vervoert.

• Om veiligheidsredenen mag de gebruiker geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan het toestel.

• Maak het toestel geregeld schoon met een vochtige, niet pluizende doek. Gebruik geen alcohol of solvent.

• Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen,

brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.

4. Voorzorgsmaatregelen

• Voor u het toestel uitschakelt

Sluit de cd-lader alvorens de PROCD330 uit te schakelen. Probeer nooit de cd-lader te sluiten wanneer de cd-speler

is uitgeschakeld maar schakel de speler eerst terug in en sluit de lader door op OPEN/CLOSE te drukken. Verbreek

de voeding volledig door de voedingskabel uit het stopcontact te trekken.

• Uw cd’s

- Vermijd vingerafdrukken, vet of vuil op de cd. Maak een bevuilde cd schoon door middel van een zachte, droge

tissue. Gebruik geen water, alcohol, benzeen, sprays, antistatische producten of met siliconen behandelde

doekjes.

- Hanteer de cd’s met voorzichtigheid om krassen te vermijden. Houd een cd langs de rand vast en laat hem niet

rondslingeren.

- Verwijder de cd uit de lader en plaats hel terug in het doosje na gebruik.

- Stel de cd niet bloot aan direct zonlicht, stof, vochtigheid of hitte.

- Plooi de cd nooit.

- Maak het middengat van de cd niet groter.

- Als een cd van een koude in een warmere omgeving komt, vormt er zich condens op het oppervlak van de cd.

Droog de cd’s nooit maar wacht tot de condens verdwijnt.

5. Installatie en aansluiting

• Installatie

Installeer de hoofdeenheid in uw console of 19” rack en hel het frontpaneel niet meer dan

15°. De cd-speler zou de cd’s niet kunnen lezen wanneer de hellingshoek groter is dan

15°.

De LCD-schermen op het controlepaneel zijn duidelijk leesbaar binnen de hellingsgraad

weergegeven op de tekening. Installeer het controlepaneel zo dat de schermen leesbaar

blijven.

• Aansluiting

1. Schakel het toestel uit.

2. Steek de RCA-plug in de ingang van uw mengpaneel.

3. Steek de aansluitingskabels in de aansluitingen van het hoofdtoestel.

Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde kabels.

6. Omschrijving

a. Hoofdtoestel

• Frontpaneel (zie fig. 1)

1. ON/OFF voedingsschakelaar

Druk op ON/OFF om het toestel in of uit te schakelen.

2. CD-LADER

Plaats uw cd in deze lader.

3. OPEN/CLOSE

Druk op deze knop om de cd-lader te openen of te sluiten. U kunt de lader niet openen tijdens het afspelen

van de cd. Stop de cd alvorens deze knop in te drukken.

• Achterpaneel (zie fig. 2)

4. AUDIO-UITGANG

Uitgang van het audiosignaal van elke cd-lader.

5. AANSLUITING CONTROLE-EENHEID

Sluit de hoofdeenheid aan de controle-eenheid langs deze aansluiting door middel van de meegeleverde

aansluitingskabel.

6. DIGITALE UITGANG

Digitale signaaluitgang naar bijvoorbeeld de digitale ingang van een versterker.

7. SCHAKELAAR DIGITALE UITGANG

Schakel de digitale uitgang in of uit enkel wanneer er geen cd afspeelt. Wanneer de digitale uitgang is

ingeschakeld, dan is de Anti-Shock

™

uitgeschakeld.

8. SPANNINGSSCHAKELAAR

Selecteer de gepaste voedingsspanning.

9. INGANG VOEDINGSKABEL

b. Controle-eenheid

• Frontpaneel (zie fig. 3)

1. OPEN/CLOSE

Druk deze knop in om de lader te openen of te sluiten. De lader kan tijdens het afspelen niet worden

geopend. Stop eerst de cd en druk dan op de knop.

2. BACKWARD SKIP (

)

Gebruik deze knop om naar het begin van het nummer terug te keren of om het vorige nummer te

selecteren.

3. +10

Druk op deze knop om 10 nummers over te slaan.

4. FORWARD SKIP ( )

Gebruik deze knop om naar het volgende nummer over te gaan.

5. LCD

6. TIME

Hiermee kunt u schakelen tussen ELAPSED en REMAINING tijdsweergave.

7. PITCH

In- of uitschakeling van de BPM-instelling.

8. PITCH BEND +

Houd deze knop ingedrukt om de afspeelsnelheid van de cd op te voeren. De cd wordt opnieuw op een

normale snelheid afgespeeld wanneer u de knop loslaat.

9. PITCH BEND –

Houd deze knop ingedrukt om de afspeelsnelheid van de cd te verminderen. De cd wordt opnieuw op een

normale snelheid afgespeeld wanneer u de knop loslaat.

10. PITCH-schuifknop

Hiermee regelt u de pitch van de cd. Schuif de knop naar boven om de pitch te verlagen; schuif de knop

naar beneden om de pitch te verhogen.

11. JOG & SHUTTLE

JOG: Draai tijdens de pauze aan dit wiel om het punt waar het geluid wordt geproduceerd een aantal

frames te verschuiven. Het aantal frames komt overeen met het aantal klikken. Draai het wiel naar

rechts om het beginpunt naar voor te verplaatsen; draai het wiel naar links om het beginpunt naar

achter te verplaatsen. In afspeelmodus kunt u de afspeelsnelheid van de cd verhogen of verlagen

(naar rechts: verhogen, naar links: verlagen).

SHUTTLE: In afspeelmodus, draai om te scannen.

12. CUE

Keer in de afspeelmodus terug naar de startpositie.

13. PLAY/PAUSE

Druk op deze knop om de cd af te spelen of te pauzeren.

14. A

Bepaal het begin van de lus.

15. REPEAT

Speel één nummer of alle nummers opnieuw af.

16. B

Bepaal het einde van de lus.

17. PROGRAM

Druk op deze knop om de programmamodus in te schakelen. De cd wordt niet afgespeeld.

18. RELOOP

Start de lus die als laatste werd opgeslagen.

19. SINGLE/CONTINUE

Schakel tussen de single en continuous afspeelmodi.

20. AANSLUITING HOOFDEENHEID

Sluit de controle-eenheid aan de hoofdeenheid langs deze aansluiting door middel van de meegeleverde

aansluitingskabel.

21. PLAY/PAUSE

Bestuur de afspeel- en de pauzefunctie langs de controlejackaansluiting. Zorg dat u deze aansluitingen

nooit voedt.

De cd stopt te spelen aan het einde van het nummer.

9. CONTINUE

De cd wordt volledig afgespeeld.

10. PITCH

Verschil in BPM (max. +/- 12%).

7. Gebruik

a. Het openen en het sluiten van de cd-lader

o Schakel het toestel in. Druk op OPEN/CLOSE om de lader te openen en te sluiten. De lader kan tijdens het

afspelen niet worden geopend om ongewenste onderbreking te vermijden. Druk eerst op PLAY/PAUSE en

daarna op OPEN/CLOSE.

b. Een cd in de lader plaatsen

o Houd de cd langs de rand vast en plaats hem voorzichtig in de lader. Druk op OPEN/CLOSE om de lader te

sluiten. Het LCD-scherm geeft gedurende 4 seconden het aantal nummers en de totale afspeeltijd weer. Daarna

gaat de speler over naar de cue-modus. De cue wordt automatisch aan het begin van het eerste nummer

geplaatst.

o Plaats geen andere objecten in de lader. Plaats één cd tegelijkertijd.

c. De nummers selecteren

o Druk éénmaal op of om het vorige of het volgende nummer te selecteren.

o Houd of ingedrukt om sneller te selecteren.

o Wanneer u tijdens het afspelen een nummer selecteert, dan zal de speller opnieuw beginnen afspelen van zodra

het gekozen nummer bereikt wordt.

o Drukt u op wanneer het eerste nummer is geselecteerd, dan keert de speler terug naar het laatste nummer.

Drukt u op wanneer het laatste nummer is geselecteerd, dan gaat de speler naar het eerste nummer.

d. De cd afspelen

o Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om het geselecteerde nummer af te spelen.

o Het startpunt wordt automatisch opgeslagen als de cue. Druk op CUE om naar de cue terug te keren.

e. Het afspelen onderbreken

U kunt het afspelen op 2 manieren stoppen:

- Druk tijdens het afspelen op PLAY/PAUSE.

- Druk tijdans het afspelen op CUE om naar de cue terug te keren en om de cd te pauzeren.

f. Pauzeren

o Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om te schakelen tussen de weergave en pauze.

g. Cue

o De cd-speler maakt zich klaar om af te spelen.

o Druk op CUE. De speler bevindt zich nu in cue-modus, keert terug naar de cue en pauzeert. Wanneer u op

PLAY/PAUSE drukt, spelt de cd-speler af vanaf de cue.

o Nadat de cd-speler een nummer heeft gevonden, plaatst hij zich automatisch daar waar het geluid begint en

plaatst daar een cue (autocue).

o Houd in de cue-modus CUE ingedrukt. De cd-speler start vanaf de cue. Wanneer u CUE loslaat, dan keert de cd-

speler automatische terug in cue-modus. Zo kunt u zien of de cue correct is geplaatst.

h. Frame search

o Met deze kunt u het geluid op een welbepaalde plaats van de cd controleren en de plaatsing manueel wijzigen.

Gebruik de frame search om het beginpunt nauwkeurig te bepalen.

o U bevindt zich in pauze- of cue-modus. Draai het JOG-wiel naar links of naar rechts om het beginpunt te zoeken.

Het beginpunt wordt op het LCD-scherm afgebeeld.

i. Scannen

o Hiermee kunt u zich snel naar voor of naar achter verplaatsen. Gebruik het SHUTTLE-wiel.

o Dit toestel heeft 7 verschillende scansnelheden. De snelheid hangt af van de snelheid waarmee u aan het wiel

draait. Laat het wiel los om naar de normale weergavesnelheid terug te keren.

j. Tijdsweergave

Druk op TIME en selecteer de weergave.

k. Beats per minuut (bpm) synchroniseren

Synchroniseer de bpm van beide cd’s met behulp van:

- de pitch schuifknop

- het JOG-wiel

- de pitch BEND-knoppen

1. Pitch schuifknop

o Druk op PITCH om de schuifknop te activeren.

o Schuif naar boven om de bpm te verlagen, schuif naar omlaag om de bpm te verhogen. Het bereik bedraagt +/-

12%.

2. JOG-wiel

o Draai het wiel tijdens het afspelen naar rechts om de bpm te verhogen; draai naar rechts om te verlagen. Het

bereik bedraagt +/- 16%.

3. Pitch BEND-knoppen

o Houd pitch BEND+ ingedrukt om de pitch te verhogen; houd pitch BEND- ingedrukt om de pitch te verlagen.

o De bpm stijgen al naargelang u de knop ingedrukt houdt. Het bereik berdaagt +/- 16%. Druk op pitch BEND om

nauwkeurig te wijzigen.

o De cd keert terug naar de pitch aangegeven door de schuifknop van zodra u de knop loslaat.

o De volgende figuur toont aan hoe de functie te gebruiken. Beide spelers spelen af en de bpm staan gelijk door

middel van de schuifknop.

l. Geprogrammeerde weergave

o Druk op PROGRAM. De cd-speler bevindt zich in de programmamodus. De cd speelt niet meer.

o Selecteer het gewenste nummer met of . Druk opnieuw op PROGRAM. Het geselecteerde nummer wordt

aan de geprogrammeerde sequentie toegevoegd.

o Herhaal de bovenste stap indien gewenst. U kunt tot 20 nummers programmeren.

o Druk op PLAY/PAUSE om de geprogrammeerde nummers sequentieel af te spelen. De cd-speler begint met het

eerste nummer. Druk op PROGRAM om het afspelen te stoppen.

o Houd PROGRAM gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om de geprogrammeerde inhoud te wissen.

m. Lus

o Druk op A om het beginpunt van de lus te bepalen.

o Druk op B om het eindpunt van de lus te bepalen en om de lus af te spelen.

o Druk opnieuw op B om de lus te wissen.

o Druk op RELOOP om de laatst opgeslagen lus af te spelen.

o Om de lus opnieuw in te stellen, wis eerst de lus en herhaal de eerste twee stappen.

n. Herhaalde weergave

o Druk éénmaal op REPEAT om het huidige nummer opnieuw af te spelen.

o Druk opnieuw op REPEAT om alle nummers opnieuw af te spelen.

o Druk nog eens op REPEAT om te wissen.

o. Wisselende weergave

o Plaats een cd in beide laders.

o Stel beide kanten in op single-modus.

o Druk op PLAY/PAUSE voor cd 1. De speler speelt nu één nummer van cd 1 af en schakelt over naar cd 2. De cd-

speler speelt nu één nummer van cd 2, schakelt terug naar cd 1 en speelt het volgende nummer van die cd af. De

speler speelt zo beurtelings alle nummers van beide cd’s. U kunt eveneens de volgorde van de af te spelen

nummers instellen. Houd er echter rekening mee dat u voor beide kanten evenveel nummers moet selecteren.

o Plaatst u beide kanten in continue-modus, dan wordt eerst de eerste cd afgespeeld alvorens de speler naar de

tweede overschakelt.

8. Problemen en oplossingen

de balayage et une recherche à la trame près. Il est possible de programmer 20 pistes et vous disposez d’un réglage

de vitesse. Lire attentivement la présente notice avant la mise en service de l'appareil. Si l’appareil a été

endommagé pendant le transport, ne pas l'installer et consulter votre revendeur.

2. Prescriptions de sécurité

• La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de cette notice et votre

revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en résultent.

• Confier l’installation et l’entretien à un personnel qualifié. Il n’y a aucune pièce maintenable par l’utilisateur.

• Ne pas brancher l’appareil après exposition à des variations de température. Afin d’éviter des dommages,

attendre jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante avant de l’utiliser.

• La tension réseau ne peut pas dépasser la tension mentionnée dans les spécifications à la fin de cette notice.

3. Directives générales

• Cet appareil a été développé pour usage professionnel dans des discothèques, des théâtres, etc. Employer cet

appareil à l’intérieur et connecter à une source de courant CA de max. 230VCA / 50Hz.

• Cet appareil est équipé d‘un faisceau laser. Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, utiliser l’appareil dans un endroit

où la température est située entre +5°C et +35°C.

• Éviter de secouer l’appareil et traiter l’appareil avec circonspection pendant l’installation et l’opération.

• Assurer une ventilation suffisante lors de l’installation. Ne pas placer l’appareil sur un lit, une couverture ou tout

autre objet facilement inflammable. Ne pas obstruer la grille de ventilation.

• Veiller à ce que le cordon d’alimentation soit toujours accessible et jamais obstrué.

• Déconnecter l’appareil du réseau afin de complètement couper l’alimentation vers l’appareil.

• Ne pas exposer l’appareil aux éclaboussures. Ne jamais placer d’objet contenant un liquide sur l’appareil.

• Ne jamais placer l’appareil sur un support, une table ou une étagère non stable. Installer l’appareil là où il ne

pourra pas être renversé.

Être prudent lors de l’installation : toucher un câble sous tension peut causer des électrochocs mortels.

Protéger l’appareil contre la pluie et l’humidité.

Ne pas ouvrir le boîtier afin d’éviter tout risque d’électrochocs.

• Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Ne pas permettre pas aux personnes non

qualifiées d’opérer cet appareil. La plupart des dégâts sont causés par un usage non professionnel.

• Transporter l’appareil dans son emballage originel.

• Toute modification de l’appareil est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité.

• Essuyer l’appareil régulièrement avec un chiffon humide non pelucheux. Éviter l’usage d’alcool et de solvants.

• N’utiliser votre PROCD330 qu’à sa fonction prévue. Tout autre usage peut causer des courts-circuits, des

brûlures, des électrochocs etc. Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie.

4. Mesures de précaution

• Avant l’extinction de l’appareil

Fermer le tiroir à disque avant d’éteindre votre PROCD330. Ne pas essayer de fermer le tiroir après l’extinction du

lecteur mais le rallumer et enfoncer le bouton OPEN/CLOSE. Couper l’alimentation complètement en déconnectant

le cordon d’alimentation du réseau électrique.

• À propos des CDs

- Éviter les traces de doigt, d’huile ou la poussière sur la surface du disque. Essuyer une surface sale à l’aide d’un

chiffon doux et sec. Ne pas utiliser d’eau, d’alcool, de benzène, de bombes à disque, de produits chimiques anti-

électrostatiques ou des lingettes enduites de produits à base de silicone.

- Manipuler les disques de façon à éviter les rayures sur la surface. Les manipuler par les côtés et ne pas les

laisser traîner.

- Toujours retirer un disque du tiroir et le ranger dans son boîtier après utilisation.

- Ne pas laisser les disques compacts dans un endroit directement exposé aux rayons du soleil, à la poussière, à

l’humidité ou à la chaleur.

- Ne pas plier le disque compact.

- Ne pas élargir le trou du centre du disque.

- Il est possible qu’il y ait de la condensation sur le disque lorsque vous le transportez d’un endroit chaud vers un

endroit plus froid. Ne pas les essuyer mais attendre que la condensation disparaisse.

5. Installation et connexion

• Installation

Installer l’unité principale dans une console ou dans un rack 19” dans un angle inférieur à

15°. Il est possible que le lecteur ne puisse pas lire ou charger le disque si l’angle est

supérieur à 15°.

Les afficheurs à cristaux liquides sur l’unité de contrôle seront clairement lisibles dans un

angle comme illustré à droite. Installer l’unité de contrôle comme illustré.

• Connexion

1. Éteindre le lecteur CD.

2. Insérer la fiche RCA dans l’entrée de votre table de mixage.

3. Insérer les câbles dans les prises de l’unité principale.

N’utiliser que les câbles fournis avec le lecteur.
