QUICK USB GUIDE

If you haven’t already done so, download and apply the available rmware upgrade. You can

nd the download link and step-by-step instructions on the Wintal web site.

USB Mode

Turn on the unit

Insert your Flash Disk/ USB Stick

The USB icon will be displayed while reading the contents.

Press the USB key on your remote control to enter USB mode.

A screen similar to the following should appear.

File play--STOP 0:00:00 / 0:00:0 0

FILE&DIRECTORY

XXXX.MP3

FAVORITE/PROGRAM

You can browse les, folders, playback your MP3 audio, JPG pictures, DivX or MPG movies by

using the arrow keys on your remote to choose a le and pressing SELECT to start playback.

USB-to-DVD Archiving

When you wish to record your les on to a blank DVD, pressing the REC button on your remote

will bring up the “USB to DVD Archiving” screen.

From here highlighting the le of your choice and pressing the “Add/Clear” button on your

remote will move that le to the “Selected File List” column on the right hand side.

When you are satised with the list of les you wish to copy over, press the “REC” button again.

Just select OK to conrm the operation.

Once the operation is complete, you can remove the disc from the tray.

Please note that the USB function on the DVDR-X30 may not work with all USB ash drives and portable hard drives
