1/4”)todividetheirlengthintotwoequalhalves.CarefullysaweachTimberintotwohalveswithahandsaworpowersaw.
2)Withascrewdriver,(apowerdriverwouldbehelpful)attachonebrackettoeachendofeachoftheCompositeTimbersas
shownindiagram(2)onthepreviouspage.
3)LayoutthebaselevelofthePlanterina
rectangularshape,withthecurvedtimber
facingfrontandinsertoneStakethroughthe
bracketsandintoeachofthefourcornersto
lockallsidesinplace.
4)AddthesecondlevelofthePlanterand
insertoneStakethroughthebracketsinto
theapertureonthetopofthestakebeneath
ittolockthesecondlevelinplace.Usetwo
oftheFinishingSleevesinsteadofbrackets
fortheupperlevelfrontcornersasshownin
diagram(3)
5)AddtheremainingTimbertotherear
wallofthePlanter,usingtwooftheFinish-
ingSleevesandlocatethelasttwoStakes
throughthebracketsintotheapertureonthe
topofthestakebeneath.

Trim stake spike
with hacksaw
for use on hard
surfaces
Note:
If you plan to assemble the Kit for use on a hard surface, open two
packs of the Stacking Joints, remove the four stakes and with a
hacksaw, carefully cut the spike of each stake where indicated on
the diagram. Use these four cut down stakes for the four corners of
the base level of the planter.
Do not do this if you are locating the Planter outdoors on soil.
