Assembly
Your Cast Aluminum Garden Trellis will require complete assembly prior to use. It is important that
you read the entire manual to become familiar with the product BEFORE you use the Garden Trellis.
Before assembling the Garden Trellis be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List and
Assemby Diagram located on the last pages of this manual.
Step 1) Locate both of the Base parts (#9) and the two (2) Frames (#1). Each Base (#9) has
an extension at each end. Insert one extension into the leg of one Frame (#1).
Step 2) The extension at the opposite end of the Base (#9) is to be inserted into the leg of
the second Frame (#1). Repeat this procedure for the second (2nd) Base (#9) and
other side of each Frame (#1)-refer to Parts diagram.
Step 3) Secure each Base (#9) to the Frames (#1) by inserting a Screw (#5) through the
Frame (#1) and the Base (#9) and securing in place with a Washer (#7) and Plastic
Cap (#6).
Step 4) The Garden Trellis has two Arches (#3). Connect the Arches together with
three (3) Cross Bars (#4). Each Cross Bar (#4) is connected at each end to one
Arch (#3) with a Screw (#5), a Washer (#7) and a Nut (#8)-see Parts diagram.
Step 5) Attach the Arches (#3) with Cross Bars (#4) to the Frames (#1). The assembled arch
will connect both Frames (#1) and create the Trellis.
Step 6) Secure the Arches (#3) in place on the Frames (#1) with a Bolt (#10), a Washer (#7)
and tighten into place with Plastic Caps (#6).
Step 7) Hang the Shutters (#2) by inserting the two rods on the Shutter (#2) into the shafts
on the Arch (#3). Repeat for second Shutter (#2).
