Buccaneer Product Safety Sheet

The Buccaneer was designed for outdoor use only. Do not use the grill in any enclosed area such

as a home, garage, car, trailer, or tent. Doing so will produce deadly amounts of carbon monoxide

indoors. Use the grill in a well-ventilated, outdoor area only.

Remove the grill from the cooler tote before using it. Make sure the grill is securely assembled

and stable before use.

Do not use the grill near any combustible materials or fire may result. Do not allow loose clothing

or hair near the grill to avoid burns.

Do not leave the grill unattended once in use. Do not allow children to come near the grill while

it is hot. Do not move the grill until it has cooled. Do not douse the grill with water. Let the grill

cool naturally before disassembling and storing the grill in the Buccaneer tote.

Use the long-handled BBQ tools included with the Buccaneer to avoid getting burned. Never

touch the grill while in use.

If using lighter fluid on charcoal briquettes, allow fluid to absorb for a few minutes before

lighting the grill. Seal any lighter fluid container and store it far away from the grill when in use.

Never add lighter fluid to an existing fire in the grill. Do not use any other combustible fluids to

operate your Buccaneer grill.

We recommend you have baking soda, a fire extinguisher, or garden hose available to put out

any fires that may occur during use.

Do not use the Buccaneer grill in unsafe weather.

Dispose of cooled ashes by wrapping them in aluminum foil and placing them in a

non-combustible waste receptacle. If in doubt whether or not the ashes are cooled enough to

dispose of properly, add water to them before disposing. Never dispose of hot ashes or coals. Do

not bury ashes or coals, as they will remain hot for several hours.

These product safety tips are provided to help you safely operate the Buccaneer grill. These tips

are not exclusive of all fire safety precautions you should follow when using flame in a portable
