Janam’s XP Series delivers state-of-the-art processor and memory technology in a remarkably small and light
package. As a drop-in replacement for existing rugged Palm OS mobile computers, the XP Series provides an easy
migration path that protects users’ investments in legacy Palm applications and work processes. Now customers
can continue to deploy their proven and cost-effective Palm OS applications as needed and upgrade their technology
on their own timetable, not someone else’s.
XP Series
The XP30 is the world’s fi rst fully-featured mobile computer that scans
barcodes and runs the latest version of the Palm OS. A brilliant, color,
quarter-VGA display and blazing Freescale™ architecture make the
XP30 a best-of-breed, rugged, barcode scanning, mobile computer,
while its list price makes it impossible to ignore. For customers
who want to extend the reach and capability of their mobile Palm
applications, the XP30 has the horsepower to execute mission-
critical data collection tasks at the point of business activity. And for
customers who are ready to switch to the Palm OS for its simplicity
and its durability, the XP30 is a platform that pays for itself twice as
fast as comparable devices.

Janam designed the XP20 to execute mission-critical, data collection
tasks in the enterprise. Every element of the product’s form and function
has a purpose. For example, the XP20 Series’ custom, “bright-white”
monochrome display was created because it offers the same 160x160
screen resolution as legacy Palm OS products, thereby facilitating
application migration across hardware platforms. At the same time, the
XP20 Series also delivers signifi cant improvements over legacy Palm
OS products, each one aimed at extending the product’s reach into
the enterprise. Customers no longer need to compromise on features
like numeric keypad, 2D barcode scanning, permanent memory backup
of applications and data, keypad backlighting, WLAN security, battery
capacity and many more.
