APPLICATION
The PAS-350 is a sound system with 1 subwoofer and 2 satellite speakers.
The PAS-350 is powered through a mixing panel or master output from another
amplier or audio source. The subwoofer contains three separate speakers. 1
for the subwoofer and 2 (left and right) for the satellite speakers. The satellite
speakers may be placed onto the supplied tripods. The satellite speakers are
connected to the subwoofer using the speaker cable with Speakon plugs. The
subwoofer is provided with a volume control for each speaker. These must be set
before use. The ultimate volume is controlled on the external audio source.
FUNCTIONS
SUBWOOFER
1. Bluetooth
®
function (optional).
2. Volume controls. 2 x for satellite speakers and 1 x for subwoofer.
3. Audio input, left and right (symmetrical), XLR or jack 6.3mm.
4. Audio input, left and right (asymmetrical), Cinch.
5. Audio output, left and right (asymmetrical), XLR (the same signal as input).
6. Satellite speaker output, left and right, Speakon (cables included).
7. 230V mains lead input (included) with fuse holder T3.1A.
8. Power switch.
9. Voltage selector (most European countries use 230V)).

WARNING/MAINTENANCE
GENERAL:
Carefully read the user’s manual and follow all directions.
Before cleaning the speaker, always remove the mains cable from the wall
socket and switch off the speaker.
Clean the cabinet with a slightly moist cloth.
Never place or use the set in wet or humid space or environment.
Ensure adequate heat dissipation; never cover the set nor place it directly next
to a heat source.
Prevent damaging the mains cable and ensure it doesn’t cause a risk of tripping
or falling.
Never disassemble the set; this may only be performed by qualied personnel.
Only turn on the speaker after setting all volume controls to MINIMUM (0), to
avoid possible scares when switching on.
Prolonged listening to high volume levels can cause hearing damage
BEFORE USE
The PAS-350 functions on the mains.
The PAS-350 satellites function on the built-in speakers in the subwoofer and
must be connected using the supplied speaker cables with Speakon plugs.
MAINS VOLTAGE:
Only connect the PAS-350 subwoofer to a mains voltage of 230 Volt. The mains in
most European countries works on 115 Volt.
Use the supplied power cord to connect the PAS-350 with the mains.
AMPLIFIER SETTINGS
POWER SWITCH:
Use the power switch to switch on the amplier.
INPUT:
Connect an external audio source to the input of the PAS-350.
The connection can be made with XLR, Jack 6.3mm of cinch plugs.
LEFT/RIGHT VOLUME CONTROL (SATELLITE):
Use the LEFT and RIGHT volume controls to adjust the volume of the satellites.
When the volume reaches the maximum level, the related peak LED will
illuminate.

SUB LEVEL VOLUME CONTROL:
Use the SUB LEVEL volume control to adjust the volume of the subwoofer (low
pitch). When the volume reaches the maximum level, the related peak LED will
illuminate.
ADJUSTING:
Use the volume buttons to set the correct volume balance between left, right and
subwoofer. This may differ per setup.
LINK OUT:
These audio outputs receive the same signal as provided through the input. The
signal may then be linked to a second set or another amplier.
Bluetooth
®
(optional):
To be able to use the wireless Bluetooth
®
function, the PAS-350 must be paired
with the external Bluetooth
®
device that contains the music (mobile phone, tablet
or other). Pair the devices as follows:
1. Switch on the PAS-350 and enable the Bluetooth
®
function by pressing and
holding the “PAIR” button for at least 3 seconds until the status LED starts
ashing.
2. Enable the search function of the Bluetooth
®
device that contains the music;
refer to the user manual of that device.
3. Now select “ALECTO in the list that appears in the display of the Bluetooth
®
that contains the music.
4. The status LED of the Bluetooth
®
function will now remain lit.
5. If asked for a password, please enter the PIN code “0000” on the Bluetooth
®
device (when the connection is interrupted, the status LED will start ashing
again).
6. Depending on the type of device that contains the music, you might have
to set this device to send its audio signal to the PAS-350 and not to the
headphones output or its own speaker; please refer to the user instructions of
the external device.
7. Attention: the PAS-350 only plays music; it does not support phone calls.
8. After use, please press and hold the ‘PAIR button for at least 3 seconds to
switch off the Bluetooth
®
device. The status LED will now switch off.
ENVIRONMENT
The packaging of this baby video monitor can be discarded as waste
paper. However, we advise you to save this packaging so you can
adequately protect the devices for transportation.
In case the baby video monitor is being replaced, please return it to
your supplier; they will guarantee environment-friendly processing.

Warning: Using the speaker for long periods of time on high volumes
can lead to permanent ear damage. To protect your hearing, please
keep in mind the following:
Increase the volume starting at the minimum up to a comfortable level.
Do not listen for long periods of time on high volumes.
Never increase the volume to outdo or ignore environmental noise.
Decrease the volume when you cannot hear the people around you.
