Installaon Instrucons:

Thisaachmentcomeswithquick-connectngsforeasy

installaonanduse.Only install quick-connect ngs

on output side of foam unit discharge valve, as shown in

the Installaon Instrucons. Do not install in any other

conguraon.

1. Removeallcomponentsfrompackaging.

2. Removetwoquick-connectngsfromaachment

handle.Unthreadoutermaleng,thenpullbackon

retainingcollartoreleasefemaleng.

3. Securelyghtenremainingmalequick-connectngonto

aachmenthandle.

4. Withfoamunitturnedoanddepressurized(referto

foamunitusermanualforspecicprocedures),remove

wand,fanp,and/oranyaddionalcomponentsfrom

outputsideoffoamunitdischargevalve.

5. Connectfemalequick-connectngtooutputsideof

foamunitdischargevalve.Femalequick-connectng

has½in.maleNPTthreads.Only install quick-connect

ngs on output side of foam unit discharge valve, as

shown in the Installaon Instrucons. Do not install in

any other conguraon.

6. Connectmalequick-connectngtofoamunitwand.

Malequick-connectnghas½in.femaleNPTthreads.

Operaon Instrucons:

Withquick-connectngsinstalled,foamwandandaachment

canbeinterchangedfordierentapplicaons.Engagequick-

connectngsbypullingbackontheretainingcollarofthe

femaleng,inserngthemaleng,thenreleasingthe

retainingcollartosecuretheconnecon.Disengagequick-

connectngsbypullingbackontheretainingcollarofthe

femalengandremovingthemaleng.

1. Connectaachmenttofoamunitbyengagingquick-

connectngs.Makesureconneconissecure.

2. Posionfoambrushovertrenchdrain.

3. Acvatefoamunit(refertofoamunitusermanualfor

specicprocedures)tobeginfoaming.

4. Tostopfoaming,deacvatefoamunit(refertofoamunit

usermanualforspecicprocedures).

• Inspectallngs,includingquick-connectngs,for

wearandleaks.

• Inspectthemixingmaterial(MIX7)locatedinsidethe

aachmenthandlefordebrisandwear.Cleanandreplace

asneeded.

• Inspectfoambrush(DFBD7)forwearandreplaceas

needed.
