  • Hello! I've reviewed the FSR MLS Installation Instructions document and am ready to assist with any questions you might have about installing the system. This document includes details on wiring, grounding, and cable management, as well as diagrams for field terminations and system topology. How can I help you today?
  • What should I do before wiring components?
What components is this system compatible with?
Is it required to cap unused connector openings?
Installation shall be in accordance with all applicable Codes.
Disconnect power from the source prior to wiring any MLS components.
Ground all components in accordance with all applicable Codes.
For use only with FSR MLS (Modular Linx System) components.
FSR MLS electrical accessory special-use connectors are suitable for interrupting current.
Determine the maximum cable length taking into account wire gauge, circuit loading and permissible
voltage drop as required by Code.
Cable should be looped ensuring it does not exceed appropriate bending radius.
Support and secure all cables and accessories, do not exceed appropriate bend radius.
Make certain that all latching mechanisms are properly engaged and no undue stress is on the
connections.
Capping of unused connector openings is not required, all components have been evaluated to
prevent inadvertent contact with live parts.
