Open shipping carton and find
4 AA batteries and 2 keys in the
plastic bag.
Insert the key into the lock and turn
the knob to open the safe. Remove
the screws and anchors.
4 phillips screws and 4 expansion
anchors are located inside the safe.
If necessary, cut a hole in the wall the same size as
the back of the safe. (Contact a professional
carpenter.) Use filler blocks and bottom support as
required.
(The ribbed plastic screw anchor is an expanding shield
that expands as the screw is tightened. The anchor can be
used in all types of base materials including concrete and
gypsum drywall.)

Mark the four hole locations and drill four 3/16 inch
diameter pilot holes. Secure the safe to the wall
studs using 4 phillips screws, through the four
pre-drilled mounting holes in the safe,with the
frame of the safe flush to the wall surface.

This safe must be secured to two wood frame wall
studs (16" center) so it is anchored to the wall studs in
four locations.
