Vanquish Mac OSX Application Installation Guide

Once you have the Vanquish Mac Software .zip file on you Mac follow the instructions below to

use the software.

1) Access the files in the Vanquish Mac Software .zip file by double clicking on the file.

2) Begin the FTDI USB Serial port driver installation by double clicking the file named

FTDUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_18.dmg.

3) Choose the installation package that corresponds to the Mac OSX version you have. If you

are using Mac OSX 10.3 or earlier use the file named FTDIUSBSerialDriver_10_3. If you are

using Mac OSX version 10.4 or higher use the file named

FTDIUSBSerialDriver_10_4_10_5_10_6_10_7.

Note: If you don’t know what Mac OSX version you have click the apple icon in the top left

corner of your screen and choose “About This Mac”

4) At this point the Vanquish USB Tool and the Vanquish Boot Screen Editor may be used.

Double click the .dmg files the click the application icon to start either application.

5) Optionally you may drag and drop the application icons into any directory of your choice so

that the .dmg files do not have to be used any more.
