Panasonic WVBF102 is a camera with interchangeable lenses. It comes with a 1/4" fixed iris lens that was developed especially for this model. You can choose between three different lenses: WV-LXY18C4E (Super Wide-angle), WV-LXY23C4E (Wide-angle), and WV-LXY47C4E (Standard). The angular field of view ranges from 115° to 44° depending on the lens you choose. The camera has a glass lens, so exchanging it for one of the above lenses may result in a less clear monitor picture and decreased sensitivity at a low illumination level.

PREFACE

This 1/4" fixed iris lens was developed especially for the

WV-CF202 and WV-BF102 camera.

Caution:

When the lens becomes dirty, wipe it using a dry and soft cloth

or a cloth soaked in alcohol. Do not use chemicals, e.g, thinner

or benzine, for cleaning because this may damage the surface.

Please wipe carefully not to scratch the plastic lens surface.

1. Remove the lens (originally mounted on the camera) from the

camera by turning it counterclockwise as shown in the illustra-

tion below.

2. Remove the lens cap from the lens (WV-LXY18C4E, WV-

LXY23C4E, or WV-LXY47C4E).

3. Mount the lens (WV-LXY18C4E, WV-LXY23C4E, or WV-

LXY47C4E) onto the camera by turning it clockwise as shown

in the illustration below.

Cautions:

• Do not forget to install the cushioning ring as shown in the

illustration below.

• Install only one cushioning ring between the lens and the

camera.

The cameras WV-CF202 and WV-BF102 have a glass lens. Exchanging this lens for one of the above lenses may have the following results:

• The monitor picture becomes less clear.
