SCSI HDD; SCSI HDD copy to IDE HDD; SCSI HDD copy to SATA HDD;
IDE HDD copy to IDE HDD; IDE HDD copy to SATA HDD, and SATA HDD
copy to SATA HDD.
(2) ACT-HDC 112 SH only supports one to one copying when you execute the
copy of SCSI HDD to SCSI HDD, SCSI HDD to IDE/SATA HDD, and
IDE/SATA HDD to SCSI HDD.
ACT-HDC 112 SH supports copying one to two when you execute the copy of
IDE HDD to IDE/SATA HDD and SATA HDD to SATA/IDE HDD.
(4) Before putting on your source HDD and target HDD, please confirm the power
is turning off, and then turn on the power to copy. After copying completely, first,
turn off the power, and then take away your HDD from ACT-HDC 112 SH.
(5) Before copying, please check again your source HDD whether is correct, you
can know this information in function 6 Select Source. If your source is SCSI
HDD, please check the SCSI ID, generally, the default is SCSI ID0. If your
source is IDE HDD, please check whether the IDE ID is ID0.
(6) Before copying, please check it again whether the capacity of the target HDD is
equal or more than the target.
(7) When SCSI HDD copy to SCSI HDD, please disable your terminator on the
HD. This parameter only appears on single end (SE) SCSI and does not appear
on LVD SCSI.
(8) Please pay attention that connecting of between adapter and 2.5 inch HDD
when you copy 2.5 inch HDD with adapter, because the pins of 2.5 inch HDD
is more loosing to lead poor connecting and copy fail.
(9) Hi-Speed Data transferring Rate:
9-1SCSI HDD copy to SCSI HDD is about 8MB/sec.
9-2SCSI HDD copy to IDE/SATA HDD is about 16MB/sec.
9-3IDE/SATA HDD copy to SCSI HDD is about 14MB/sec.
9-4IDE/SATA HDD copy to IDE/SATA HDD is about 30MB/sec.
2Operation of copying one by one
2-1 Buttons and LCD
1. It shows all functions and messages.
2. It is used to scroll up functions or menus.

source HDD and the target HDD after copying.
2-2-3 Verify HD Function 3 Verify is to examine if the target HDD can be
read correctly after copying.
2-2-4 Prescan HD Function 4 Prescan is to scan if the source HDD can be
read correctly, and by the way to test the reading speed.
2-2-5 Disk Info Function 5 Disk Info is to show the basic information of
source HDD.
2-2-6 Select Source Function 6 select source is to let you select which HDD as
the source from which copying will be done. For example,
before you execute copying between IDE HDD and SCSI
HDD, you have to check which one is your source HDD to
avoid your source HDD damage. If your source and target
HDD are SCSI interface, remember to set the source ID as
0 and set the target ID as 1 on the SCSI HDD.
2-2-7 Setup Function 7 Setup lets you change the default settings.

during copying. Under normal circumstances, when an
error occurs during copying, a message will appear LCD.

IDE HDD to set transferring rate of this HDD copying.
If your source HDD is IDE or SATA HDD, but target is
SCSI; when you execute copying HDD, only one thing
you have to pay attention is to make sure DMA mode is
setting on transferring rate of UDMA0!!
