always download your images as soon as possible to safeguard against loss.

6. Using your ViviCam 25
The ViviCam 25 has two modes capture and stand-by. In standby mode the battery is
inserted, but the LCD is off and the camera is conserving power. To activate capture
mode, press the Mode button once to power on the unit. The LCD will come on and the
camera is ready to capture an image.
In the capture mode:
a. If you press the Shutter button, the camera will capture an image. The image
counter increments by one (i.e. from 000 to 001) as the image is captured and
stored to memory.
b. If you press the Mode button once, it will display ‘oFF’. Press the shutter button
to turn off the camera, placing it in standby mode.
c. If you press the Mode button twice, the camera displays ‘So’ meaning “Strobe
off” indicating that the flash (strobe) is turned off. If you press the Shutter
button while “So” is displayed you will notice the ‘Flash’ icon blinks, indicating
that the flash is charging. When the flash icon stops blinking the charging
process is completed and you may capture an image using the flash.

shutter button and the camera will capture an image after 10 seconds. During

must first turn the flash (So) to charge up the Flash before selecting the self-timer.
e. Pressing the Mode button four times brings up the Video icon. Press and hold
the shutter button to capture a video clip. The camera will record video until the
memory is full or you release the shutter button. It is recommend that you use
Low resolution (320 x 240) so the movie duration may be longer.
f. Pressing the Mode button five times displays the ‘Burst’ icon. Press the Shutter
button to capture a burst of three sequential images in rapid succession, known

not affect the camera performance outdoors in sunlight. Repeat this process to
change back to 60 Hz.
