C06 System (838) Firmware Update – OTA Guide
C06 Firmware can be updated using OTA.
1. OTA (Over the Air) Method – OTA Firmware Update is supported using Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi USB
Dongle most be installed in the Wi-Fi Display Port (USB on the far right of the projector) and
connected to an active Wi-Fi network.
2. From the Launcher (Home Screen), go to Network Settings > Wireless Settings (Wi-Fi Display).
After connecting to a Wi-Fi Network, press the menu button on remote or the keypad on the
projector:
3. Go to Info > Firmware Version > Firmware Update. The following will appear – follow the
prompts to complete the update.
4. After the update is complete, you MUST update the LAN Firmware. The LAN Firmware is
available on the UHD51A Webpage (https://www.optoma.com/us/product/uhd51a --
downloads section) or at WW Support Download Page at
http://www.optoma.com/support/download.
