Make sure you visited the correct link, and downloaded the correct drivers.
2. Please use your “Administrator” permission (Run as Administrator) to install the diver.
But for MacOS, please use your “Admin” account. (You probably need to go to Upper-left
corner Apple iconSystem PreferencesGeneral & Privacy, download it from APP store
and identified developers)
3. Restart your laptop
4. For Windows: Lower-right bottom System Tray-->Network icon, if you can see the
Ethernet icon on the bottom of your system tray, that means the adapter functioning well.
5. For MacOS: Upper-left Corner Apple icon System Preferences Network, if it shows
USB 10/100/1000 LAN with green icon, which means adapter works well.
6. If you still can not surf the Internet, you probably need to contact with your Network
Carrier or router supplier for more supports, such as setting the correct DHCP server, IP
address, sub-net mask, default gateway, DNS server.
