The rating plate of the appliance indicates the serial number of the appliance. If the man-
uals are missing, it is possible to order new ones from the manufacturer or the local rep-
resentative. When ordering new manuals it is essential to quote the serial number shown
on the rating plate.

Make sure that the main cord does not touch the heating plates, as they become very hot
when switched on.
Never submerge the machine in water.
When a heating plate is not being used, it should always be switched off.
Never leave an empty jug standing on a hot heating plate
If the machine doesn’t work properly or in case of malfunction, turn off the power and call
for service.
The destroying of the appliance when its economical lifetime has been reached may be
harmful to the environment if not properly handled. Utilization of materials that are reus-
able is best done by professional personnel specialized in recycling

The heating plates M21 and M22 are suitable for keeping the contents of one and/or two
coffee/tea jugs at the right temperature. They can be placed at another location than that
of the coffeemaker and serve to keep the coffee/tea hot.
• M21 has one heating plate
• M22 has two heating plates

• Clean the heating plate with a cloth
• Put the plug into the socket
The self-regulating hot plates ensure that the coffee or tea is always at the correct temper-
ature.
Make sure that the filling dispensing lid is always placed on the jug.
