6. My number is stored as a Contact in the App, but I can’t call the TickTalk?
Once the Firewall is On, if your number is private, the TickTalk will not be able to recognize it,
and will not allow the call to go through. Your wireless carrier will be able to provide a code
that needs to be added to your private number in the Contacts area of the App.Make sure to
enter your number without any spaces, parentheses, or dashes, as this will prevent the
TickTalk from storing the number correctly. The preferred format for contacts is +11234567890.
If the Contacts are entered as 1-123-456-7890 or (123) 456-7890, then the TickTalk may not
make or receive calls properly.
WARNING
- TickTalk contains sensitive electronic components and can be damaged if dropped, burned,
punctured, or crushed. Don’t use a damaged TickTalk, such as one with a cracked screen,
visible water intrusion, or a damaged band, as it may cause injury. Avoid heavy exposure
to dust or sand.
- Don’t open TickTalk and don’t attempt to repair by yourself. Disassembling TickTalk may
damage it, result in loss of water resistance, and may cause injury to you.
- Don’t attempt to replace the battery yourself—you may damage the battery, which could
cause overheating and injury.
- To charge TickTalk, use only the original TickTalk Charging Base, Charging Cable and
included Power Adapter. Using a damaged Charging Cable or unauthorized charging
cable or adaptor, or charging when moisture is present, can cause electric shock, injury,
or damage to TickTalk or other property.
- The locating service depends on data services. The data service may not be available in all
areas, resulting in location information that may be unavailable, inaccurate, or incomplete.
- For the safety of your children, please do not allow them to charge TickTalk by themselves.
Recommend the guardian to charge TickTalk instead.
