Overview

When mounted properly, Ergotron ARMS™ will

provide ergonomic monitor viewing and keyboard

operation for a wide range of users - whether

sitting, standing or in sit/stand situations.

The dimensioned drawings and formulas

contained in this guide can be used to determine

the ergonomically correct mounting height of

any of Ergotron's Flat Panel Monitor/Keyboard

solutions mounted to either a vertical or

a horizontal surface. If mounting above a

worksurface, mounting heights may change due

to various worksurface heights.

The Anthropometric Table on page 17 shows how

mounting heights are calculated based on the eye

and elbow heights of male and female operators.

OVERVIEW

Ergotron's DS100 Series Pivots are factory-set to provide positive pivot

control and a smooth moving force throughout the entire pivot range of

motion. To customize your installation, you will evaluate the operation

of each Pivot function by moving the monitor through its full range of

movement. If excessive force is required to pivot the monitor or if the monitor

does not stay in the desired position, pivot adjustment is required. Adjust for

a controlled motion of the monitor over the entire range of travel. Speciﬁ c

adjustment procedures for each function are found on the following page.
