republic. You’re building a new kind of
wireless. We tend to do things a little
different around here. For starters,
there are no contracts, no extra charges
to worry about, no complicated
technology to overcome. This guide gets
you started. We can’t wait to see where
you’ll take it from here!
The beauty of republic wireless is Hybrid Calling,
which allows you to harness the power of Wi-Fi for
calls, texts and data.
Not around a Wi-Fi Signal?
Hybrid Calling switches to the cell network, so you’re
never without “coverage.”
Hybrid Calling
Setting up Wi-Fi on your republic phone to use Hybrid Calling is simple. Just
use the Wi-Fi Wizard to connect your device to an available Wi-Fi network,
and you’re all set.
Here’s How...
1. Turn on your device.
2. The Wi-Fi Wizard will automatically start up to guide you through the
process.
3. Choose an available Wi-Fi network.
4. Enter your password if needed and touch CONNECT.
5. The Hybrid Calling indicator will turn green to let you know that you
are ready to start making calls over Wi-Fi.
6. Repeat when new Wi-Fi hotspots are open and available.
Using Hotspots
Hotspots may ask you to connect via a browser the first time, but they’re
easily accessible. And best of all, your republic phone will remember every
hotspot you store!

Making Calls
1. Press
2. Enter a phone number using the keypad.
3. Tap the call button
Texting
1. Press
2. Tap NEW MESSAGE
3. Enter a phone number or contact name.
4. Enter the message and tap SEND
Voicemail
1. Press
2. Touch and hold 1 on the dialpad.
3. Default password is 1234 and then press #.
You can change your password by accessing the advanced options menu by
pressing 3.
