Shaft Seal Removal 1. Clean the pump thoroughly before
removing the shaft. Orient the pump
with the shaft pointing up.
2. Use a snap ring pliers to remove the
top snap ring (J200).
3. Turn two screws into the seal.
Input Shaft Removal 1. Use a press or gear puller to press
down on the shaft.
2. Remove the lower snap ring (J200).
3. Pull the shaft (J100) out of the pump.
It may be necessary to tap lightly
on the shaft to dislodge it from the
internal pump components.
Attention
Do not move or shake the pump after the shaft is removed. Internal parts may be
dislodged making it impossible to reinstall the shaft.
Keep all parts clean. Ensure that no contamination falls into the pump.

2. Install the new shaft/bearing assembly (J100, J150, J300) into the pump. Rotate the
shaft to align it with the block and charge pump splines.
Lubricate the bearing (J150) with clean hydraulic fluid.
