OVEN COOKING FUNCTIONS
MLTF (Heat Maintenance)
This function maintains one of two temperature levels (35 °C or 60 °C) inside the oven.
- Setting the temperature to
35 °C
is particularly useful for raising dough for bread and pizza.
- The default setting is
35 °C
. For this function it is advisable to use the first shelf level.
Use the
60 °C
temperature setting to keep the food warm once it is cooked.
FAN FUNCTION
Poultry, tarts
This function can be used for cooking different dishes simultaneously on two or three levels without
crossover of odour or flavour. The dishes are evenly browned and are tender and succulent.
The function can also be used for rapid defrosting at 50 °C.
STATIC FUNCTION
Cakes and pastries, quiches, roast meats, poultry
Pre-heat the oven to the cooking temperature so as to seal the item to be cooked as soon as it is put in the
oven.
- Place the dish in the oven as soon as the thermostat light goes out.
- The dishes to be cooked must be deep enough and placed on the grid located in the middle of the oven.
For cakes and pastries, use:
- either the multi-purpose drip-tray (shortbread and pastries, meringues, Swiss rolls).
- or a pie dish or cake tin, placed on a rack.
It is recommended to use the two lower shelf levels.
TURBOGRILL FUNCTION(Grill+Fan)
Roast meats, meat on the bone, fish
For this cooking method, the oven door must be closed. This method is particularly suitable for cooking any
meat, but it is always succulent. Also suitable for more succulent fish: turn the food over half-way through
cooking.
Whilst grilling, some parts of the appliance can become hot: children must be kept away.
GRILL FUNCTION
Gratins and grilled foods
If the food is placed directly on the grid, place the drip-tray underneath to catch the juices dripping out.
For this cooking method, the oven door can be left closed or completely opened. Whilst grilling, some parts
of the appliance can become hot: children must be kept away.
GRILL + TURNSPIT FUNCTION
Roast meats, poultry
For this cooking method, the oven door must be closed. Turnspit cooking is very practical and results in
tasty poultry and meat, very evenly cooked through. During grilling, some parts of the appliance can become
hot: children must be kept away.
BOOSTER FUNCTION
This function allows the oven temperature to rise more rapidly. When the selected temperature has been
reached, it automatically changes over to the conventional function .
PASTRY FUNCTION
Cakes and pastries, quiches, fruit pies
This cooking method is ideal for:
- Fine pastry cooking, to prevent drying out.
- Fruit pies and quiches which have to be browned on the top and bottom.
This function can be used for simultaneous cooking on different levels: turn the food over about
half-way through cooking.
PYROLYSIS
Refer to the section on Pyrolytic Cleaning in the separate instructions for use.
