  • Hello! I've reviewed the Sidekick Scene Keypad Quick Start Guide. This document describes different modes for the device, as well as its capability to control up to 8 scenes or work as a shade remote. I'm ready to answer any questions you have about setting up or using your Scene Keypad!

Configure button taps, double-taps, and hold
triggers in your home automation system with
Sidekick Scene Keypad and Bond Bridge Pro.
NOTE: If you wish to change the motor
technology while in Mixed Mode, please be
sure to prefix the technology code with a "1".
Failure to do so will result in the Sidekick
reverting to 5-channel shade mode.
In this mode, the 5 numbered buttons are used
for scenes, while the Stop, Up, Down, and Pair
buttons act as a single-channel remote that
directly controls your shade motor.
After setting Sidekick to Mixed Mode, see the
manual for your shade technology for details
on how to pair to your shade motor.

How to set up/change modes
Sidekick Scene Keypad is highly flexible,
supporting four different configurations based
on how many scene keys you need, and whether
you want to control any shade channels directly.
You can set up to 8 scenes and even
use the Up and Down buttons to control
dimmer lights, volume, temperature, or
whatever your imagination leads you!
8-Scene Mode
Select the mode that you want to use.
Enter the Menu Code.*
All LEDs will blink to confirm.
Install the 3- or 6-button set if required.

For those instances where you
don’t need Up and Down buttons.
Set up to 6 scenes.
6-Scene Mode
The simpliest of them all, specially
useful in A/V installations such as
home theaters.
