have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are

part of the product. They contain important information concern-

ing safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please fa-

miliarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions

for use. Only use the product as described and for the speciﬁed

applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please en-

sure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

The product is only suitable for lighting in dry indoor environments

and is for private use. The product is not intended for commercial

use or for use in other applications.

Not suitable for ordinary lighting in household

room illumination.

General safety instructions

KEEP ALL THE SAFETY ADVICE AND INSTRUCTIONS IN A

SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!

Children often underestimate

danger. Always keep children away from the

product. This is not a toy.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user

maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Electrostatic discharges may cause malfunctions. In the event of

such malfunctions, remove the batteries brieﬂy and reinsert them.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Please do not use this

product if you ﬁnd that it is damaged in any way.

Do not subject the product to any extreme temperatures or

severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in defor-

mation of the product.

Never cover the product when it is in operation.

This product does not contain any parts that need to be

maintained by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.

Never open one of the products’ of electrical equipment or

insert any objects into them.

Keep the product away from humidity.

This product is only intended for use indoors.

The illuminants are not replaceable.

If the illuminants fail at end of their lives, the entire product

must be replaced.

Safety instructions for batteries /

rechargeable batteries

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries

out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek imme-

diate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge

non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit bat-

teries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them.

Overheating, ﬁre or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into ﬁre or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures,

which could aﬀect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g.

radiators / direct sunlight.

If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact

with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals!

Flush immediately the aﬀected areas with fresh water and

seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or dam-

aged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause

burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable pro-

tective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries,

immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will

not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

Only use the speciﬁed type of battery / rechargeable battery!

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity

marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and

the product.

Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and

in the battery compartment before inserting!

Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the

product immediately.

Mounting the product

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Note: You will need an electric drill to install the product.

Make sure you will not be drilling into electrical, gas or water lines

inside the wall. Use a power drill to drill the holes into the brick

wall. Always observe all safety instructions for the power drill in

the manual for the power drill. Death or injury due to electric

shock may otherwise result.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to the operating instruc

tions

for your electric drill.

CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage any cables in the wall.

Please see ﬁgure A (with screws 5 and dowels 3) or B

(with double adhesive tape 6) for mounting the product.

Note: The substrate should be dry, smooth and free of dust

and grease.

Note: Allow the wall bracket 4 to build up its adhesive

bond for at least 24 hours. Otherwise the adhesive action

could be detrimentally aﬀected.

Note: If the double adhesive tape 6 has been in place for

a long time, sticky residue may remain on the surface when

removed. If necessary, use an adhesive remover. Test a small

area prior to cleaning the respective area. Follow the manu-

facturer instructions.

Start of operation

Using the product

Note: Before first use remove the insulation strip.

The product will automatically switch on when motion is

detected in a dark environment.

The product will automatically switch oﬀ when motion is no

longer detected for a period of time.

Replacing batteries

Open the battery compartment 7 at the back of the product.

Remove the old batteries and insert new batteries (see Fig. C).

Check the polarity of the batteries. This is shown in the battery

compartment 7.

Close the battery compartment 7.

Cleaning and care

Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you

may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for

waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations

(a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plas-

tics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbreboard / 80–98: compos-

ite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable,

dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The

Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more

details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the

product properly when it has reached the end of its use-

ful life and not in the household waste. Information on

collection points and their opening hours can be ob-

tained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled

in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments.

Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the

product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the batteries /

rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the

usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and

are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations.

The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cad-

mium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of

used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and

meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product de-

fects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your

legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed

below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture

within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace

it – at our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep

the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is requi-

red as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the

product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This

warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear,

thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for da-

mage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or

glass parts.

rajoittuneita tai joilla ei ole kokemusta tai tietoa tuotteen käy-

töstä, jos he käyttävät tuotetta valvonnan alaisina tai heitä on

opastettu tuotteen turvallisessa käytössä ja he ovat tietoisia tuot-

teeseen liittyvistä vaaroista. Lapset eivät saa leikkiä tuotteella.

Paristoja / akkuja koskevat

turvallisuuohjeet

HENGENVAARA! Pidä paristot / akut lasten ulottumatto-

missa. Pariston / akun nielaisseen henkilön on välittömästi

otettava yhteyttä lääkäriin!

RÄJÄHDYSVAARA! Älä koskaan lataa paris-

toja, jotka eivät ole uudelleenladattavia. Älä oiko-

sulje paristoja / akkuja äläkä avaa niitä. Siitä voi

seurata ylikuumeneminen, tulipalo tai räjähdys.

Älä koskaan heitä paristoja / akkuja tuleen tai veteen.

Älä altista paristoja / akkuja mekaaniselle kuormitukselle.

Paristojen / akkujen vuotamisesta johtuva vaara

Vältä äärimmäisiä olosuhteita ja lämpötiloja, jotka voivat

vaikuttaa paristoihin / akkuihin esim. lämpöpatterit tai suora

auringonvalo.

Jos paristot / akut ovat vuotaneet, vältä kemikaalien kosketusta

ihoon, silmiin ja limakalvoihin! Huuhtele altistuneet kohdat vä-

littömästi pelkällä vedellä ja ota yhteyttä lääkäriin!

KÄYTÄ SUOJAKÄSINEITÄ! Vuotaneet tai vau-

rioituneet paristot / akut voivat syövyttää ihoa. Käytä

siksi ehdottomasti aina sopivia suojakäsineitä.

Jos paristot / akut vuotavat, poista ne välittömästi tuotteesta,

jotta tuote ei vaurioidu.

Käytä vain samantyyppisiä paristoja / akkuja. Älä käytä van-

hoja ja uusia paristoja / akkuja yhdessä!

Poista paristot / akut tuotteesta, jos sitä ei käytetä pitkään aikaan.

Tuotteen vaurioitumisvaara

Käytä ainoastaan ohjeessa mainittua paristo- / akkutyyppiä!

Aseta paristot / akut tuotteen sisään paristoon / akkuun ja

tuotteeseen merkittyjen napojen (+) ja (-) mukaan.

Puhdista pariston / akun ja paristolokeron kontaktipinnat ennen

sisäänasettamista!

Poista loppuunkäytetyt paristot / akut välittömästi tuotteesta.

Tuotteen kiinnittäminen

Huomautus: poista tuotteesta kaikki pakkausmateriaalit.

Huomautus: asennukseen tarvitaan porakone. Varmista, ettet

seinää poratessasi osu sähkö-, kaasu tai vesijohtoihin. Käytä pora-

konetta reikien poraamiseen seinään. Noudata aina myös porako-

neesi käyttö- ja turvallisuusohjeita. Muutoin seurauksena voi olla

kuolema tai sähköiskun aiheuttama loukkaantuminen.

HUOMIO! LOUKKAANTUMISVAARA! Tutustu myös

porakoneesi käyttöohjeeseen.

HUOMIO! Varmista, että et vahingoita mitään johtoja seinässä.

Suorita tuotteen asennus kuvan A (ruuveilla 5 ja tulpilla 3)

tai B (kaksipuolisella teipillä 6) osoittamalla tavalla.

Huomautus: pinnan tulisi olla kuiva, tasainen, pölytön ja

rasvaton.

Huomautus: anna teipin kiinnittyä vähintään 24 tunnin ajan

seinäkiinnittimeen 4. Muutoin teipin kiinnitystä ei voida taata.

Huomautus: jos kaksipuolista teippiä 6 on käytetty pitkän

ajan, pinta saattaa jäädä liimaiseksi teippiä poistettaessa.

Käytä tarvittaessa liiman poistoainetta. Testaa ainetta ensin

sopivassa kohdassa ennen pinnan puhdistusta. Noudata

valmistajan ohjeita.

Käyttöönotto

Tuotteen käyttäminen

Huomautus: poista eristysnauha ennen ensimmäistä käyttöä.

Tuote kytkeytyy automaattisesti päälle pimeässä, kun

se tunnistaa liikkeen.

Tuote kytkeytyy automaattisesti pois päältä, kun se ei

tunnista enää liikettä.

Paristojen vaihtaminen

Avaa tuotteen takaosassa oleva paristolokero 7.

Poista käytetyt paristot ja aseta uudet sisään (kuva C). Tarkista

samalla oikea napaisuus. Se on merkitty paristolokeroon 7.

Sulje sitten paristolokero 7.

Puhdistus ja hoito

Käytä puhdistukseen vain kuivaa, nukkautumatonta liinaa.

Hävittäminen

Pakkaus on valmistettu ympäristöystävällisistä materiaaleista, jotka

voidaan viedä paikalliseen kierrätyspisteeseen.

Noudata pakkausmateriaalien jätteiden lajittelua koske-

via merkintöjä. Ne koostuvat lyhenteistä (a) sekä nume-

roista (b) ja tarkoittavat seuraavaa: 1–7 = muovit /

20–22 = paperi ja pahvi / 80–98 = komposiitit.

Tuote ja pakkausmateriaalit ovat kierrätettäviä, hävitä

ne erikseen paremman jätteiden käsittelyn takaamiseksi.

Triman-logo koskee vain Ranskaa.

Lisätietoja käytöstä poistetun tuotteen hävittämismahdol-

lisuuksista saat kuntasi tai kaupunkisi viranomaisilta.

Älä heitä käytettyä tuotetta kotitalousjätteisiin. Hävitä

tuote ympäristöystävällisesti toimittamalla se asianmu-

kaiseen jätehuoltoon. Lisätietoja keräyspaikoista ja nii-
