Installation Instructions:
1. Uninstall driver’s side factory tail lamp by removing 2 Phillips head
screws as shown in Figure 1. Unplug wiring harness.

2. Remove expanding foam in cavity behind tail lamp to expose hole in
floor board, shown in Figure 2. The foam can be removed with a
flat head screwdriver, chisel, or your hand.
3. Push tail lamp link cable through the exposed hole. Connect factory
wiring harness to Luminix tail lamp. Mount the load resistor to a
metal surface away from plastic pieces and wires. This resistor can
get very hot, so use caution if the vehicle has been running. Mount
Luminix tail lamp using factory screws, making sure that the
mounting tab on the tail lamp is inside the sheet metal of the Jeep
(see Figure 3).
4. Repeat Steps 1-3 on the passenger’s side.
5. Connect the tail lamp link cables. Route the cable between the rear
bumper support and bumper cover. Zip-tie it in place. Take care to
keep the cable away from the exhaust, moving components, and
pinch points.
