Installation:
Transmitter
1- Connect the power adapter (provided) to an electrical outlet.
2- Connect the adapter cable to the DC IN input connecter located on the
transmitter rear panel.
3- Use an RCA to 3.5 mm cable (provided) to connect the transmitter and your audio
sources. NOTE: RCA plugs must be connected for proper operation.
Receiver Headphones
1- Remove the battery door from the left hand side (L) of the headphones.
2- Insert two rechargeable AAA size batteries, taking care to ensure proper polarity.
3- Replace the battery door.
4- Switch off the receiver headphones and place them on the transmitter to charge the
batteries for 24 hours before initial use.
Operation:
1- Turn on the headphone receiver by pressing the ON/OFF button, and turn on the
transmitter by switching to channel 1, 2 or 3 on the back of the transmitter.
2- If the LED (red) on the headphones is OFF, place the headphones back on the
transmitter for recharging; as the power level of the batteries is low.
3- If the LED (red) on the headphones is ON, then you can connect your desired audio
source with the transmitter.
4- Press the AUTO SCAN button on the headphones to automatically connect to the
transmitter (green LED will light on the headphones)
5- If interference is heard or no connection is made, switch between channels 1, 2, or 3 on
the transmitter and press the AUTO SCAN button on the headphones to reconnect.
6- Turn OFF the transmitter and then the headphones when finished with use.
Note:
To both protect the transmitter and save power, the headphones will turn OFF
automatically if there is no audio signal from the transmitter within 4 minutes.
Charging the Batteries:
1- Switch OFF the headphones.
2- To recharge the headphone batteries, place the headphones in the transmitter, ensure
that the charge contacts touch the transmitter’s charge pins and the CHARGE LED
lights up green when charging. Remove and replace the headphones if the LED does
not light.
3- The charge process starts immediately and the LED becomes darker when the
charging process is finished.
4- Be sure to charge new batteries for 12 hours before using them for the first time in the
headphones.
Note:
The batteries must be fully charged before first use. An initial 24 hour charge is required to
guarantee an acceptable service life for the rechargeable batteries. Always ensure that the
headphones are switched to the OFF position while the batteries are charging.
Important:
This unit should be operated with rechargeable batteries only. When replacing the
batteries or when disposing of the unit always comply with applicable laws relating to the
disposal of batteries. Please place them in a proper disposal container to ensure that they
are eliminated safely and in an environmentally-friendly way.

Trouble Shooting:
NO SOUND
• Ensure that the adapter is pushed fully into the power outlet and that it’s cable is properly
connected to the DC IN 6V connector on the transmitter.
• Ensure that the headphones ON/OFF switch is switched “ON”.
• Ensure the transmitter is switched ON to channel 1, 2, or 3.
• The headphones battery charge level may be too low. Recharge the batteries or replace
them with fully charged batteries.
• Ensure that your DVD, TV set, stereo system or audio component is switched on and set
to a channel that broadcasts an audio signal.
• Use the headphones volume control to increase the sound level (only when in use as a
wireless headphone).
• The audio signal input level is too low. Increase the volume from the audio source of
stereo, CD, TV, etc.
• The connected audio/video equipment may not be in playback mode. Start playback on
by the equipment.
• The headphones output level is set too low. Adjust the volume to a suitable level.
DISTORTION
• The headphones battery charge level may be too low. Recharge the batteries or replace
them with fully charged batteries.
• Ensure that the volume setting is correct.
• The headphones may be too far away from the transmitter.
• Ensure the red/white RCA plugs or connected to the transmitter.
