The series8 charges your USB
chargeable devices at their optimum
rate, maximising battery life and cutting
power consumption. You can charge up
to eight devices from a single electrical
socket, and see when each device is
fully charged.
The series8 charges devices from the

GoPro and Sony etc.
The series8 is designed to be future-
proof: you can update the series8 to
recognise future products simply by

Getting Started
Just plug the series8 into a power
socket and you are ready to start
charging your devices.
When a device is plugged into the
series8 it is profiled. When profiled it will
start charging.
Touching the Cambrionix logo puts the
series8 into Party Mode. In this mode,
the front panel responds to the music
you are playing. To return to Normal
Mode simply touch the logo again.
Devices continue to charge in the
background while in Party Mode.

USB charging ports:
suitable for all USB
chargeable devices.
Status indicators:
shows the charging status of
each device. A solid red light on
its own shows that the port is
working but no device is plugged
into the USB port.
When a device is charging the
white LEDs are animated.
When a device is fully charged
the white LEDs are all on and
pulsating. The red LED turns off.
While the series8 is determining
which device is connected the
white LEDs pulsate and the red
LED is on. The device is profiling,
which can take up to a few
seconds.

Eco Mode icon: the series8 operates
in a power-efficient way. It switches
off power to a USB charging port if
the connected device is charged.
This avoids unnecessary power
consumption and helps to maintain a
healthy device battery. The white LEDs
pulsate and the red LED goes off when
the device is charged.
USB2.0 port: connect to your computer
if you require updates.

Disconnect the power cable and all
other cables that are connected.

Notes for advanced users
You can control and monitor via the VCP which enumerates when the mini-USB port
is connected to a host.
You can connect to the series8 with the following settings: 115,200 8N1.
