Panasonic NC-TXF30 is an electric thermo pot with a 3.0 L capacity. It has a 360-degree rotatable base with a power cord of approximately 1 M. 3. PROBLEM CHECKING
3.1 Thermo pot performance test
mode
Please follow check operating detail below, before
start to check the problems.
LED symbol for this instruction show as below.
How to operate
1. Pour approx. 1000 ml water into the container.
2. Supply with 220V/240V electric power.
Instruction
1. Long Boil/Reboil LED will be lighted and LED
will be blink and start to boil water.
2. After 9~10 min., LED will be lighted and
change to keep warm state.

1. Remove 2 tapping screws and 1 truss head
screw from bottom plate.
2. Remove 1 screw and sleeve from body.
3. Remove white, orange lead wire and earth wire
from peg frame.
4. Remove body off.
5. Remove water proof cover B.

Do not do maintennance and re-use if copper
pattern on PCB is broken.
Thermo pot may break down by static
electricity from clothes, human body,
workbenches, etc., when touch or
wonder to touch should to ground

3.4 Failure diagnostics chart
3.4.1 No power. (There is no power indication)
When the above parts are normal
When the above parts are normal Replace the Control unit A (bottom).
Replace the Control unit B (operation).

4. DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 Bottom plate and Body
1. Remove 2 tapping screws and 1 truss screw
from bottom plate.
2. Remove 1 screw and sleeve from body.
3. Remove black, white lead wire and earth
wire from peg frame.
4. Remove body off.

Open (A point) with minus screwdriver of small
pin.

4.7 Peg frame
1. Remove body follow the instruction.
2. Remove bottom ring upside with minus
screwdriver or etc.
3. Remove 1 screw off.
4. Use minus screwdriver to pry between 2 ribs
of peg frame and body, and then push out
peg frame with thumb, then pull it off.

1. Adjust lock pin of stopper comp. at “Release”.
2. Put minus screwdriver into stopper comp., gap and use power to remove it.

2. Remove the case A comp.
3. Remove the control unit B (operation).
4. Remove the upper frame from the container

to assemble thermostat assy.
2. Assemble hold spring A on cover plate.

Use finger to Block position, and push tightly to prevent air leak from Lid.
(If there is some rebound on Pump Comp., it means OK.)

Assemble pump comp., to lid after check air leak.
If do not set packing lid well, it may not withstand pushing reaction. (Packing lid should not be open)

After assembly please recheck water leak, insulation resistance and operation, those are usual
or unusual.
: Measure by 500VDC insulation meter, the result should be more than 2MΩ.
(Measuring between 2 pins of plug and screw)

: Should stand 1000VAC for one minute.
(Measuring location is same as INSULATION RESISTER)

: Thermo pot performance test mode (P. 5) and operation is usual or unusual.

Production No. is located at bottome plate.

6. BODY EFFICIENCY CHECK
Amount of Pouring-out water checking.
Allowance : Amount of water should be 160±30 ml.
1. Pour water into the container and change to boiling state. Waiting to keep warm mode.
2. Measure amount of pouring-out water after change to keep warm immediately.
3. Push on supporting plate to pump water for once and measure amount of pouring-out water.
For this test, please careful hot water.
