INSTALLATION
• Themanufacturerwillnotbeheldliableforanydamages
resultingfromincorrectorim-properinstallation.
• Theminimumsafetydistancebetweenthecookertop
andtheextractorhoodis650mm(somemodelscan
beinstalledatalowerheight,pleaserefertothepara-
graphsonwork-ingdimensionsandinstallation).
• Checkthat themainsvoltage correspondstothat in-
dicated on the rating plate xed to the inside of the
hood.
• ForClassIappliances,checkthatthedomesticpower
supplyguaranteesadequateearthing.Connecttheex-
tractortotheexhaustuethroughapipeofminimumdi-
ameter120mm.Therouteoftheuemustbeasshort
aspossible.
• Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaustducts
carryingcombustionfumes(boilers,replaces,etc.).
• Iftheextractorisusedinconjunctionwithnon-electrical
appliances (e.g. gas burning appli-ances), a sufcient
degree of aeration must be guaranteed in the room
inorder to preventthe backowof exhaust gas.The
kitchenmusthaveanopeningcommunicatingdirectly
withtheopenairinordertoguaranteetheentryofclean
air.Whenthecookerhoodisusedinconjunctionwith
appliancessuppliedwithenergyotherthanelectric,the
negative pressure in theroom must not exceed 0,04
mbartopreventfumesbeingdrawnbackintotheroom
bythecookerhood.
• Intheeventofdamagetothepowercable,itmustbe
replacedbythemanufacturerorbythetechnicalservice
department,inordertopreventanyrisks.
USE
• Theextractorhoodhasbeendesignedexclusivelyfor
domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.
• Neverusethehoodforpurposesotherthanforwhichit
has been designed.
• Neverleavehighnakedamesunderthehoodwhenit
isinoperation.
• Adjustthe ameintensity todirectit ontothe bottom
ofthepanonly,makingsurethatitdoesnotengulfthe
sides.
• Deepfatfryersmustbecontinuouslymonitoredduring
use:overheatedoilcanburstintoames.
• Donotambèundertherangehood;riskofre
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons (in-
cluding children) with reduced physi-cal, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless theyhave been given supervision or in-
structionconcerninguseoftheappliancebyaperson
respon-siblefortheirsafety.
• Childrenshould besupervisedto ensurethatthey do
notplaywiththeappliance.

MAINTENANCE
• Switchofforunplugtheappliancefromthemainssup-
plybeforecarryingoutanymaintenancework.
• Cleanand/orreplacetheFiltersafterthespeciedtime
period(Firehazard).
• Cleanthehoodusingadampclothandaneutralliquid
detergent.

thisproductmaynotbetreatedashouseholdwaste.Insteaditshall
behandedovertotheapplicablecollectionpointfortherecycling
ofelectricalandelectronicequipment.Byensuringthis productis
