CONNECTING THE WIRES

4.Attachthexture’swirestothehousewiresfromthe

junctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whiteto

white(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twist

theendsofthewirepairstogether,thentwistonawire

connector.Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.If

thereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunction

box,locategroundscrew(C)onmountingstrap(B)andwrap

thexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew

(C).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(C)ontothe

mountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the

important notes above. Shut off the power at the circuit

breaker and completely remove the old xture from the

wall, including the old mounting strap.

1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholes

andtwosetsofmountingscrews(A&E).Youmayneedto

tightenhexnuts(D)thatholdmountingscrews(A)inplace.

2.Placemountingstrap(B)uptoyourjunctionbox.Place

backplate(F)overthemountingstrapliningupmounting

screws(A)withtheholesinbackplate(F).Thiswillallowyou

toensurethatyouarehangingthexturestraight.Putthe

backplateasidefornow.

3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmountingstrap(B).

Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmounting

screws(E)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

5.Placethexture’sbackplate(F)overmountingstrap(B)sothatthemountingscrews(A)protrudefrombackplate(F).Secure

thebackplatetothemountingstrapbythreadingdeconuts(G)ontotheexposedendsofthemountingscrews(A).Twistuntilthe

backplate(F)issnugagainstthewall.

6.Slideglassshades(I)oversockets(H).Securetheglassshadesinplacewithsocketcap(J).

Installlightbulbs(notprovided)basedonthexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.

Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
