PLANNING INSTALLATION
Compare all parts with the Package Contents list in this manual. If any part is missing or
damaged, do not install this product. Contact the Customer Service Team.
TOOLS REQUIRED
Remove fixture from the carton and check for any shipping damage.
HANGING CHAIN INSTALLATION
1. a) Installing to a wooden joist (preferred):
Drill 5/64 in. pilot holes in the ceiling/joists 44 in. apart. See Fig. 1.
b) Installing to drywall with no wooden joist:
Drill 3/16 in. pilot holes in the ceiling 44 in. apart.
Insert drywall anchors (D) into pilot holes. See Fig. 1.
2. Insert the hanging chain eye hooks (C) into the pilot holes or drywall anchors (D).
If unable to hand tighten, use a screw driver to assist in securing to the ceiling. See
Fig. 2.

WARNING: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the

3. Install the hanging chains (B) by hooking s-hooks (not included) into the eye hooks
installed on the ceiling. See Fig. 3.

4. While supporting the fixture, install the bottom of the hanging chains (B) into the
mounting slot in the side of the shop light (A). Do not allow the shop light to hang
unsupported by only one hanging chain during installation. See Fig. 4.

5. Plug in the power cord to a grounded three-prong socket. Secure any excess length
on the power cord and hanging chains with the provided cable ties (E). See Fig. 5.

6. Turn on power at the circuit breaker box and verify that fixture functions properly.
The threeprong socket must be located directly above the 44 in.
shop light.

PLANIFICACIÓN DE LA INSTALACIÓN

Saque la lámpara de la caja y verifique si hubo daños en el transporte.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA CADENA COLGANTE
1. a) Instalación en una viga de madera (preferida):
Taladre orificios piloto de 5/64 pulg. en el techo/viga con una distancia
de 44 pulg. entre sí. Consulte la figura 1.
b) Instalación en yeso sin viga de madera:
Taladre orificios piloto de 3/16 pulg. en el techo con una distancia de 44 pulg.
entre sí.
Inserte los anclajes para yeso (D) en los orificios piloto. Consulte la figura 1.
2. Inserte los ganchos para cadenas colgantes (C) en los orificios piloto o en los
anclajes para yeso (D). Si no puede ajustarlos a mano, use un destornillador para
ayudar a fijarlos al techo. Consulte la figura 2.

ADVERTENCIA: Este equipo ha sido probado y encontrado en cumplimiento

3. Instale las cadenas colgantes (B) colgando ganchos en S (no incluidos) en los
ganchos instalados en el techo. Consulte la figura 3.

4. Con la lámpara sostenida, instale la parte inferior de las cadenas colgantes (B) en
la ranura de montaje en el lateral de la luz de tubo (A). No permita que la luz de tubo
cuelgue sin apoyo de una sola cadena durante la instalación. Consulte la figura 4.
5. Enchufe el cable de alimentación a un tomacorriente de tres clavijas con conexión a
tierra. Fije cualquier exceso de la longitud del cable de alimentación y de las cadenas
colgantes con los amarres de cable (E) suministrados. Consulte la figura 5.

6. Encienda la alimentación en el disyuntor principal y verifique que la lámpara funcione
correctamente.
El tomacorriente de tres clavijas debe estar encima de la luz de tubo
de 44 pulg.
