Before installing and using the camera, please read this manual carefully. Be sure to
keep it handy for later use. This installation manual covers the following models listed
below. Any difference in features for these models are indicated where necessary.

How to Open the Gimbal Cover

Step-1
As shown below, hold the Gimbal base firmly in place with one hand.
Step-2
Gently press PointsA&Bwith other hand and pull the Gimbal cover off.
Step-3
Make necessary lens adjustments. Refer to page-10.
Step-4
Replace the Gimbal cover by gently pressing back onto the Gimbal base.

EasyView Dome Cameras have vari-focal lens integrated inside the Gimbal. If you
require to make focal/focus adjustments, the Gimbal cover needs to be removed
temporarily. If lens adjustments are not necessary, skip to page-11.

Note: Screws required for electrical junction boxes are not supplied with the package.
These screws are readily available at local electrical supply stores.
Either flush mount or surface mount application, pre-drilled mounting holes on EasyView
Domes accommodate various electrical junction boxes, making installation easy and less
time consuming.
1. Remove dome cover by loosening 3 screws. For indoor domes, use standard Philips
screw driver. For vandalproof domes, use Torx wrench provided with the package.
2. Surface Mount:
Using four ST4x30 screws, mount surface plate to a sturdy surface. Using three
ST4x12(Indoor) screws or M4x10(Vandalproof) screws, affix flush mount base to
surface plate.(For flush mount application, disregard this section)
3. Flush Mount:
Using four ST4x30 screws, affix flush mount base to a sturdy surface.

Remove the Gimbal cover from the Gimbal base.

Loosen Zoom & Focus screws and make necessary adjustments as shown.

If the picture is too bright or too dark, adjust the DC Level by turning left or right.
On WD Series, use the OSD Menu using the mini joystick board.

• Power connection - Requires 12VDC or 24VAC input depending on camera model.
• All camera model are supplied with second video output on the camera module. To use
this feature along with a service monitor, second monitor cable/connector
(Part# CA-SMC30) is required. Contact your distributor or NUVICO Sales Department
for further information.

• Pushing Center Key for 3 seconds

• Press EXIT Menu from Main Menu
• When the Center Key is pressed more than 3 seconds from the Main Menu,
it will automatically exit.
C. 'SAVE' and 'QUIT'
• Left or Right Key - Selecting Menu
• Up or Down Key - Returning to Menu
1. Press the SET key, Press the CENTER Key.
2. Select the desired feature using the UP or DOWN key.

Main Menu F. LOW LIGHT
• SLOW SHUTTER : Control Image brightness by adjusting the shutter speed
- AGC : shutter speed setting( Range 28 to 48)
- MAX FIELD : Shutter open from Min. x2 to Max. x32 filed accumulation period.
• B&W SS (Black and White Slow Shutter)
• GAIN : To get brighter picture.
G. SYNC
• INTERNAL : Internal synchronization
• LINE LOCK : Phase adjustment may be necessary in multiple camera installations
to prevent picture roll when switching between cameras
H. DAY/NIGHT
• AUTO : For automatic switchover from Color mode to B/W mode.
• B/W : Retain a B/W image at all times

A. SETUP ID
• DISPLAY ID
- ON : The ID name will be displayed in the monitor.
- OFF : The name will not displayed in the monitor.
• CAMERA ID : It can be written to 12 characters.
• ID POSITION : Select on screen position of the camera ID.
B. LENS
• MANUAL : Use When using Manual lens.
• DC : You can control the brightness of the screen and adjust the desired DC
level from -40 to 20.
C. WDR
• WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)
You can adjust the desired WDR level from -20 to 20.
D. WB CONTROL
• ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance)
The camera automatically control the white balance in any environment.
• AWB (Auto White Balance)
Opens the PUSH AWB CONFIRM screen where you save your AWB settings to
have them take effect or select CANCEL.
Auto white balance ensures that color integrity is maintained.
• MANUAL
Users can adjust the colors by adding or reducing the WB level.
You can adjust the desired WB level from 2,500K to 9,500K
E. AGC
• ON : Activate automatic gain control feature.
You can adjust the desired AGC level from 0 to 38dB.
• OFF : Deactivate automatic gain control feature.
The Gimbal mechanism yields maximum rotation and placement as shown below.
