• Loadrefrigeratorfromsideofcabinetonly
• Donotrunretainingstrapsoverhandles
• Donotover-tightenretainingstraps
• Neveruse refrigeratorhandlesto movethe refrigerator
• Removetapefromdoors onlyafter unitis in place
3 Connect Water Supply

Donot use aself-piercingshut-offvalve
• Acompressionnutandferrule(sleeve)forthe watersupply
connectionattherear ofyour refrigerator
Toconnect the water supply to the rear of your refrigerator:
! Ensurethattherefrigeratoris notpluggedin
2 Flushthesupplyfineuntilwateris clearby placingtheendof the
coppertube in a sinkor bucketandopeningtheshut-offvalve
3 Unscrewtheplasticcap fromthewatervalve inbt attherearof
yourrefrigerator Discardthecap
4 Slidethebrasscompressionnut,thentheferrule(sleeve)onto
copper tube
5 Pushthecoppertubeintowatervalveinletas faras itwillgo
(1/4 inch)
6 Slidetheferrule(sleeve)intovalveand finger-tightenthe
compressionnutontovalve Tightenanotherhalf turnwitha
wrench Do not over=tighten
7 Securethecoppertubetoyourrefrigerator'srearpanelwith a
steelclampandscrew(seei%stration)
8 Coil theexcesscoppertubing(about2%turns)behindyour
refrigeratorasshown Arrangeco%d tubingtoavoidvibrationor
wear againstothersurfaces
9 Openwatersupplyshut-offvalveandtightenanyconnections
thatleak

Becarefulnottomovethe refrigeratorbeyonditswatersupply(copper
tubing) connections
Pluginthe powercord, andpushthe rdrigerator straightbackinto
place.
