2. Connecting to a computer
In order to use the CNUMT, you will need to connect it to your computer.
Use the included USB cable which comes with the CNUMT to connect to your computer.
Insert the Mini-USB connector of the USB cable in the CNUMT.
Insert the normal USB connector of the USB cable in a free USB port on your computer.
The CNUMT will be recognized and installed automatically.
After recognition and installation, the CNUMT is ready to use.

3. Using the Numeric Keypad
When the CNUMT is connected to your computer, the device provides 2 different operation modes:
Numlock PC mode and PC mode.
When ‘Numlock PC’ mode is activated, the LED on top of the CNUMT will burn.
When ‘PC’ mode is activated, the LED will be off.
You can switch between the different operation modes with the orange thumb key and the “Esc / Num
Lock” key. Each operation mode has a different layout for the keypad, which are shown below:

3.1 Using the CNUMT in ‘Numlock PC’ mode
When the CNUMT is set to ‘Numlock PC’ mode, you can use the CNUMT as a numeric keypad on your
computer with the ‘Numlock PC’ layout shown above.
If you press and hold the orange thumb key, you can access the functions of the ‘PC’ mode layout, which
are printed in orange on the keys of the CNUMT.
3.2 Using the CNUMT in shortcut keypad mode
When the CNUMT is set to ‘PC’ mode, you can use the CNUMT as shortcut keypad on your computer with
the ‘PC’ mode layout shown above.
If you press and hold the orange thumb key, you can access the functions of the ‘Numlock PC’ mode
layout, which are printed in white on the keys of the CNUMT.
