SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
2. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved
3. Children shall not play with the appliance
4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
5. This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;

by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments.
6. The appliance must not be immersed.
7. Heating element surface is subject to residual heat
after use.
8. Use the appliance according to this instruction, any
misuse may cause electric shock or other hazards.
9. Before connecting the appliance, please check if
the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
with the main voltage in your home.
10. Do not place the appliance on a hot surface.
11. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
12. Remove the main plug from the wall socket;
-if problems occur during making coffee;
-before cleaning the appliance.
13. Do not allow the main cord to come into contact
with hot surface.
14. Use the appliance out of children reach. Prevent
them from pulling the main cord.

15. Do pour any water before the appliance has been
turned on.
16. The heating plate is hot when in operation. Do
not touch-risk of severe burn!
17. To fill the water tank use fresh cold water only.
CARE AND CLEANING
●Always remove the main plug from the wall socket
before cleaning the appliance.
●Never immerse the appliance in water.
●You should clean it with a damp cloth.
●The carafe and the filter and the funnel can be
washed in hot soapy water.

Before first use
For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh
water (without coffee). Once all the water has passed
through, switch off the appliance and let it cool down during
5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.

Making coffee
Fill the water tank with the required quantity of water.
Ensure that the water level is not lower than the minimum
mark and not higher than indication MAX. Use fresh, cold
water only. The number of cups can be read on the water
tank.
Insert filter paper size1X4if the filter hasnt been used
and fill in the desired quantity of ground coffee.
Switch on the appliance. Wait until the brewing process is
finished and the funnel has run empty.
For large cups: takes 5-6g of ground coffee each cup.
Making more coffee straight away?
If you have made one cup of coffee and wish to make some
more straight away, please switch off the coffee maker and
allow at least 5 minutes for it to cool down. Then you can
refill the water tank.
The functions of PCB control with LCD display
1. Components of PCB:
5-button version of singlechip programmable control, with a
4-digit LCD display screen, two LED indicating lights (red for

WORK, green for DELAY) and a power board and so on.
2.Main functions:
--Two working modes: turn on the coffee maker at any time,
or set your favorite time to let it turn on automatically in 24
hours.
-- Protecting function: No key-press operation occurs for 40
minutes, the machine will switch off automatically.It only
turns off the relay output and stops the heater from working;
PCB power is still on.The appliance will automatically switch
on when the preset starting time reaches.
3. Drawing of the control panel
Display states
--Plugging in: the time display flashes and reads 1200. The
clock will not change as time goes.
--Stand-by: the display shows the time like a clock.
--Setting the clock: the indication of the setting time “SET
TIME” is on steadily, and the display shows 12:00 when
plugging in. After that, it shows the current time.
--Programming the coffee maker: the booking indication
“SET TIMER” is on steadily and the display shows 12:00 when

plugging in. If you reset the time to start automatically, it
shows the previous setting time.
--Programmed mode: the display shows the time and the
green indicator lights on.
--Switching on: the display shows the time and the red
indicator lights on.
4. Operation (programming your coffee maker)
-- Plug in the coffee maker and the display shows 12:00.
Press “on/off button and it starts heating. The working
indicator (red) lights on and the display stops flashing.
Pressing any button can also stop the flashing and the
appliance counts from 12:00 and enters into the stand-by
state.
-- Setting the clock: in the stand-by state, press “set” button
to enter the setting state of the clock and “SET TIME” on the
display is on. Set the hours by pressing the “h” button
repeatedly and set the minutes by pressing the “min” button
repeatedly. Confirm the time through two following modes:
a. If you don’t press any button after 3 seconds, the
appliance will automatically confirm the time. “SET TIME”
indication is off and the display shows the clock.
b. Confirm the time by continuously pressing set button
twice and SET TIME” indication is off.

-- Programming the coffee maker to start automatically. In
the stand-by state, continuously press “set” button twice to
enter the setting state of the programmed start and “SET
TIMER” on the display is on. The clock shows the time that
has been set for automatic start. Press “h” button and “min”
button to set the time. Confirm the time through two
following modes:
a. If you don’t press any button after 3 seconds, the
appliance will automatically confirm the time. “SET TIMER”
indication is off and the display shows the clock.
b. Confirm the time by pressing set button once. “SET
TIMER” indication is off and the display shows the clock.
-- Programmed start working mode: After the programmed
start is set, press delay” button to enter the programmed
start working mode. Green indicator is on and the display
shows the current time. Press delay button again to cancel
automatic start and enter the stand-by states. Under the
programmed start working mode, you can check the
programmed time by continuously pressing set button
twice, but cannot change the programmed time. In the
programmed start state, the appliance automatically starts
heating when the preset time reaches. The green indicator
goes out and the red indicator lights on.
-- Start heating immediately.
a. Under non-heating state, press on/off button once and

start heating immediately. The red indicator lights on.
b. During heating, press on/off button once to stop
heating. The red indicator goes out.
Descaling
Descale your coffee maker regularly.
Operate the appliance as described. However, now use
ordinary vinegar to fill the water tank and do not fill the
funnel with ground coffee.
After descaling let the appliance work twice more with only
water to rinse away the vinegar and scale remainders.
