Important details:
• The use of surveillance cameras in public areas is regulated by theData Protection
Act 1998 and requires thepermission of your local authority. Theuse of camera
surveillance on private property is also regulated by theData Protection Act.
Nopermission is required from thelocal authority, but those monitored must
be informed that they are under surveillance. TheInformation Commissioner’s
Office has compiled aCode of Practice governing theuse of security cameras.

• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency can reduce thetransmission range.
• The range of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located
between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with
thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
• Turn off any existing wireless equipment to see if this could be the cause of
theproblem.
• Move thewireless equipment and/or shorten thedistance and reduce thenumber
of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc) between thetransmitter and receiver.
Safety
• The product should not be taken apart or modified. Certain exposed parts inside
thecasing carry dangerous current. Touching these can lead to fire or electric shock.
• Do not cover theproduct. Adequate ventilation with adistance of at least 15cm
between ventilation holes and thesurrounding area is necessary to prevent
thedevice from becoming toowarm.
• Use only theincluded or recommended mains adaptor.
• Ensure that thepower supply to themains adaptor is 230 V/50Hz.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Donot place any objects which contain liquid onto theproduct such as vases,
drinks, etc.
• Do not expose theproduct to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
