ROLL (single-button, two-button or three-button mode)
In single-button mode, press (brief press) repeatedly the pro-
grammed button of the transmitter to alternately close the
opening and closing output relays for the set time period.
Press (long press) the transmitter button to alternately close
the output relays for the time you keep the button pressed.
In two-button mode, press (brief press) the upper button to
close the opening relay for the set time or press (long press)
to close the opening relay for the time you keep the button
pressed. Use the same procedures for the lower button to
control the closing relay.
A transmitter programmed in three-button mode behaves the
same as a transmitter in two-button mode, with one exception:
the closing relay is controlled by the upper right button, the
opening relay is controlled by the upper left button, and the
lower button (buttons) are used for opening the relays.
CENTRAL OPEN
Press the transmitter button to close the opening relay for the
preset time. Cross-travel cannot be stopped by repeated
pressing.
CENTRAL CLOSE
Press the transmitter button to close the closing relay for the
preset time. Cross-travel cannot be stopped by repeated
pressing.
RETR
This function only "forwards" the code of the programmed
transmitter in case the range of devices is not sufficient. It
does not influence the relay status. Minimum distance be-
tween devices is 2 m!
Notes:
When programming the RETR function, it is recommended to
program all buttons of the transmitter (press all buttons of the
transmitter simultaneously).
In manual setup, only one receiver can be used for retrans-
mission of a code of a transmitter. If you program the same
code in another receiver (that is within range of the first re-
ceiver), the code of the newly programmed receiver will be au-
tomatically erased immediately after programming. The re-
ceiver will announce this action by temporary fast alternating
red flashing of the two LEDs.
If the range of devices is still not sufficient when using one re-
ceiver set for retransmission of the code, remote management
(SW RF Assistant) must be used to set multiple retransmis-
sion.
Indication of operating status of the receiver:
- Continuous red light of both LEDs – memory of the receiver
is empty.
FIRST USE
- Connect the receiver according to fig. 1a or 1b.
- Prepare the selected transmitter.
- Connect the supply voltage.
Note:
Only qualified person can connect (disconnect) the receiver to
(from) the mains and appliance (3299-15508).
Due to the risk of reducing the detection zone, it is not rec-
ommended to locate the receiver near sources of electromag-
netic interference. A strong electromagnetic field may impair
or disable correct functioning of the receiver!
The detection zone depends on the material in which the re-
ceiver is built. Conductive materials and items near the re-
ceiver decrease its operating range.
If possible in the conditions of the building structure (plaster-
board walls), it is recommended to have the receiver aerial
protrude into open space or a hollow.
The electrical circuit to which the appliance with the receiver is
connected must be protected by an element (fuse, breaker) of
cutoff current max. 6 A (3299-15508).

green slowly.
E) How to delete all transmitters
- Press (long press >10s) the button on the receiver.
- Deletion of all transmitters is indicated by simultaneous
slow flashing of both LEDs and subsequent continuous red
light of both LEDs (indicating empty memory of the receiv-
er).
Note:
If no code is programmed or no move to another state is per-
formed within 30 seconds of programming or deleting the de-
vice, the receiver automatically returns to the operating mode.
Alternating red flashing of both LEDs – error message (for ex-
ample, the code being programmed has already been pro-
grammed in the receiver memory, or, in case of deletion, the
code being deleted is not present in the memory).
REMOTE MANAGEMENT
For devices in the RF 868
®
series, manual programming of
transmitter codes, functions and parameters can be substitut-
ed by remote management using the SW RF Assistant tool
and the 3299-09908 transmitter. You can even use remote
management to set other functions and parameters that can-
not be accessed otherwise:
- Disable (enable) manual programming and delete transmit-
ters.
- Lock selected transmitters against deletion from the receiv-
er memory.
- Setting up to 3 devices with the RETR function for a single
transmitter.
- Disable (enable) search mode.
- Program the transmitter in the receiver memory for the PO-
SITION function (direct movement of the roller to 0-100%
position) or for the SCENE function (press (brief press) the
transmitter button to move the roller to the preset position or
press (long press) to store the current position in memory)
or for the CENTRAL STOP function (press the transmitter
button to stop the roller or jalousie).
By default, the receiver is set to the so-called state of time-
limited search. This means that when a receiver is being con-
nected using remote management for the first time, it is possi-
ble to connect to it only within the first five minutes of connect-
ing it to the supply voltage. To enable time-unlimited search
(can be misused to gain unauthorized access to remote man-
agement!), before you connect the receiver to the supply volt-
age, press and hold the programming button until the receiver
indicates the change by three simultaneous red flashes of
both LEDs. Similarly, use this procedure to return to time-
limited search; the only difference is indication by only one
short blink.
The current setting of the search mode can be ascertained
while connecting the receiver to the supply voltage. Three
short red blinks of both LEDs indicate unlimited search, one
short blink indicates time-limited search, no short blinking in-
dicates searching is disabled.
RESET TO DEFAULTS
If you need to cancel all function and parameter settings, you
can return to the manufacturer's default settings.
- Press and hold the button on the receiver while the receiver
is connected to the supply voltage until both LEDs light up
red (approx. 10 s)
- While the LEDs are lit up (approx. 3 s), release the button
and press it briefly again.
- Resetting to the manufacturer's defaults will be indicated by
simultaneous slow flashing of both LEDs.
Note:
When resetting to defaults, all programmed codes will be de-
leted from the receiver memory as well!!!
