Checking the VC-100UHD System Program Version
Check the version of the VC-100UHD system program as described below.
1. Press the [SETUP] button to make the button light green.
2. Select Root menu “System”0“Information.”
The system program version is shown to the right of “Version.” If the version is lower than 1.10, an update is required.

Setting a Password When Connected to the Network
You must set a new password when updating the system program from a version earlier than 1.10, or when performing a
factory reset with version 1.10 or later.
NOTE
You can’t remote control this unit via LAN until the password is set.
When connecting via Telnet without setting a password, the message “Please register the password on your VC-100UHD.” is
shown.
1. Press the [SETUP] button to make the button light green.
2. Select Root menu “System”0“Network”0“Password.”
3. Set a new password.
MEMO
If you’ve forgotten the password you’ve set, you can do a factory reset, which resets the unit without a password.
Current Password
Input the current password. If the password has not been set, “None” is displayed.
In this case, you don’t need to enter a password.
New Password
Enter a new four-digit password (using the numbers 0–9 and letters A–F).
Turn the [PAGE/CURSOR] knob Move the cursor.
Turn the [VALUE] knob Change the character.
